Mandalay Bay Valet Goes Missing After Claiming Shooter ‘Had No Bags’

A Mandalay Bay valet, who parked Stephen Paddock’s car when he checked in, has mysteriously disappeared after giving an interview to mainstream media in which he insisted the suspected shooter was “a normal guy” and “didn’t have many bags.“
Chad Nishimura, a long term employee of Mandalay Bay, gave the interview to Moanike’ala Nabarro, a reporter for Hawaiian ABC affiliate, KITV4 News.
The article has now been deleted from the KITV4 News website after it appeared to go against the “official narrative” that “lone wolf” gunman Paddock managed to smuggle enough guns for a small army into his hotel suite completely unnoticed by staff or security personnel monitoring the hotel’s CCTV.
KITV4 have so far refused to explain why their article was suddenly scrubbed from their website, or if they were acting under outside orders.

Nishimura, a Hawaii native, has also completely vanished since the report was published, and all of his social media accounts have been deleted from the internet.
If it wasn’t for the archived interview with KITV4 News Hawaii, accessible after a little digging on archive.org, it would be as if Nishimura never existed.
Friends and colleagues say the valet has been “totally unreachable for days” since shortly after the 1 October attack that left 59 dead and hundreds more injured.

The KITV4 interview offered a very different perspective on the shooting compared to the content being produced by most mainstream media outlets. By interviewing somebody who actually met Stephen Paddock, the interview provided real insight into the event.

Nishimura told the ABC affiliate that Paddock “seemed normal” and, most tellingly, that he “didn’t have any bags with him upon arrival.“
While the removal of the article from the KITV4 website could be explained by ABC higher-ups taking issue with an article that contradicts the “lone wolf” narrative they are pushing, the disappearance of Nishimura and the scrubbing of his social media accounts makes the whole episode particularly disturbing.

"LAS VEGAS -- A maintenance worker said Wednesday he told hotel dispatchers to call police and report a gunman had opened fire with a rifle inside the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino hotel before the shooter began firing from his high-rise suite into a crowd at a nearby musical performance.

The revised timeline has renewed questions about whether better communication might have allowed police to respond more quickly and take out the gunman before he committed the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history. "

The first reports I heard about the hotel maintenance man going to the gunman's room made it seem as though the hotel worker arrived at the door after the shooting spree through the window, or perhaps during the shooting spree. It said there were 200 bullet holes in the door where the hotel worker had used a card key in attempt to open the door. He was shot (in the leg) but no details were given about how he managed to evade more serious injury. They said the worker had been going down the hallway using a master key card to open the doors to various rooms as a non-emergency routine. They did not describe what the routine was, such as he may have been checking for people using a room that was not being paid for, or if any room that's not occupied might be in an unprepared condition for occupancy. They also said that the worker had been responding to an "open door alarm" on that floor, which seemed like it would have been a hallway door or a common doorway, not a door to any particular room. One speculative announcer said this may have been a door that Paddock had tried to block or disable, since one report mentioned that a common doorway in the hall had been tampered with but didn't say how it was tampered with. Paddock had barricaded his own room entrance door, one report said "using screws." They also said that Paddock had set up two video cameras so he could monitor the approach of anyone in the hallway. One camera was on a service cart left in the hallway, and the second camera was attached to the viewport in his entrance door.

About a week later, the news came out that the hotel worker had said he tried to open the door and the 200 shots were fired through the door from inside the room, then 6 minutes passed before the gunman inside started shooting at the concert arena. This report was met with surprise by the announcer who said he had been under the impression that it had been 6 minutes (?) AFTER the shooting spree. But now, if it was BEFORE the spree, why did it take the police another hour before they arrived at the room? If the doorway 200 shots had been reported immediately, and the police immediately called, it's hard to imagine why it would then have taken an hour for them to come to the room, and perhaps they could have come soon enough to interrupt the shooter before he had killed so many people.

One speculative announcer asked if perhaps the shooter had not intended to open fire on the concert-goers but after being unexpectedly interrupted by the hotel worker trying to use the card key, when he fired all those bullets through the door, the gunman then may have decided to go ahead with the crowd shooting. This is also a question that derives from reports that the gunman, Paddock, had reserved upper floor level suites at other hotels in the past few years which had windows facing a venue where large numbers of people gathered while the room reservation was being used.

 The Mandalay Bay security guard shot in the moments leading up to the Las Vegas massacre checked into a “quick clinic” instead of appearing in a series of previously scheduled interviews, but his union representative does not know his exact condition or location.
“It’s highly unusual. I’m hoping everything is okay with him and I’m sure MGM or the union will let (media) know when we hear something,” David Hickey, the president of the Security Police and Fire Professionals Union told Fox News.

Hickey said he’d been helping security guard Jesus Campos prepare for a string of interviews, scheduled for Thursday evening.

 
Reporters later in the night announced on social media he was nowhere to be found. Sean Hannity tweeted out that Campos “cancelled” his appearance on the show.
“For the past four days he’s been preparing,” Hickey said, noting the interviews were Campos’ idea to begin with. He said he hoped telling his story would help him move on.

“Thursday we had a meeting with MGM officials, and after that meeting was over we talked about the interviews, we went to a private area, and when we came out, Mr. Campos was gone.”

It would seem like the evil plotters at the top just kick back and watch with sick amusement as the evolving scenario/process of trying to determine who did what and how and why they did it turns into a kind of spinning Tower of Babylon.  In any event, they will surely get their justice meted out to them either in this world, the next or both.
