(He also tries to sell books on chat boards.)

Branding is a marketing strategy that involves creating a differentiated name and image -- often using a logo and/or tag line -- in order to establish a presence in the consumer's mind and attract and keep customers.

I'm just saddened and disgusted by this whole thing. So this was not someone acting in good faith and had multiple ulterior motives with the race agitator threads, and people like myself were supposed to just allow ourselves to be slandered and abused because of an accident of birth.

I think the more important issue is how sin seeps into human interactions, no matter how pious people claim to be. IMO, the best course of action is to self-segregate from people in general. There's a repulsive element of intentional deception and wicked motives that suffuses modern society, and it looks like traditional Catholics are no different.

People are just bad. That's the lesson I'm taking away from all of this.

 :surprised: Red flag, anyone??

Wow. So, there is a distinct possibility that this is yet another White supremacist who may not be a committed Catholics using a Catholic forum to disseminate propaganda.

From a Bio written by Laramie Hirsch to help sell a product of his:

"Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Laramie Hirsch grew up studying the Bible and attending Baptist church, but later he converted to the Catholic Church in September 2001. After graduating from Oklahoma State University in 2004, Hirsch became disillusioned with a hopeless career in academia and fell into diversions. Hirsch fell into a period of traveling to many large American cities and camping in various climates. ..."

There is no way an Anti-Catholic Southern Baptist Protestant ever studies a Bible.

Trent says the official and only Bible that Holy Mother Church uses is the Vulgate.

This is a poisonous piece of prose that the Okie wrote, that must be deleted!

So, I've been right all along? The White supremacist indoctrination was a part of his Southern Protestant ethnic and social culture -- he is also a VERY recent convert (2001!!). It is no wonder he simply cannot conceive of religious teachings that are either race-neutral or race-blind, or those that even go so far as to condemn the White supremacy he espouses.

You know something, what if the White supremacists on the forum are all or mostly Protestant converts and/or from the South? What would it say about about the traditional church's effort at teaching if people drag all of their erroneous and damaging social and political beliefs into their Catholic practice?

It will be interesting to see who tries to derail this thread.

Maybe the moderator, who I am sure is busy, could track their IP addresses to see what region of the US they are from. Of course there are ignoramus bigots in all parts of this cultured land.

The following are comments from seven Americans from (bigoted) Oklahoma, where Laramie Hirsch was fully indoctrinated into error with his mama's milk:

"Most Racist States In the U.S." (top tens com)

Oklahoma

"MOST RACIST PLACE... I am active duty military. Traveled around the world, and this place disgusts me! They are just poor whites with a long history of segregation, Jim Crow, ... race riots, etc. I don't know if I should feel sorry for them or hate them for their ignorance."

"I agree Oklahoma is a very very racist state I am originally from IL and compared to Oklahoma I would say it's at least in the top 5 most racist state in the US."

"This should be rated # 1. I was born In Tulsa, Oklahoma and they treat blacks like dirt. I have gotten... racist jokes in Skiatook Oklahoma, this isn't funny this is real. Racism messes with peoples lives. It needs to end."

"Here is a two sided perspective. Being a military kid I moved a lot. I grew up in the officers quarters and around white people. We moved to Oklahoma when I was in High School. I was blown away by how bigoted it is. White folks in this state are totally oblivious to the racism they are pedaling. It is totally systematic here. They practice it collectively. You will go nuts trying to understand it. As a black person, getting a real job is next to impossible. Phone interviews get me to the face to face but its all down hill from there. My father was offered a job running the OKC ambulance service in the 80s. He came highly recommended by his superiors in the military. At the signing they happened to notice that he was black and rescinded their offer right there at the signing. He was a hospital commander, responsible for emergency aircraft, choppers and tactical hospital deployments but he was too black for Oklahoma. I have met good Whites here too, but they are indeed the exception."

"I live in Oklahoma City. I have lived here my whole life and I would have to say that I have experienced racism almost everyday of my life. Blacks are treated completely differently from whites."

"I was a foreign student at Oklahoma State university. I had the worst racist experience ever. Not only do the local whites act like they are superior to all other races they avoid any kind of interaction with people of other cultures. The fact is that, only in this country you would find such self-conceited, arrogant, ignorant ... . No wonder this country is going down the tubes."

"I've had people follow me here in Tulsa call me names on the bus and talk about me like a dog... ."
