"Kosher Jesus," Boteach's first book published in Israel, asserts that because Christians no longer consider Jєωs to be their enemies, it is therefore time to recognize Jesus as a Torah-abiding Jєωιѕн patriot.
    -------
"Christians don't know the Jєωιѕн Jesus," Boteach continued. "They know the Christ-divinity but not the Jєωιѕн man Jesus. There's a need to discover the humanity of Jesus."

  • The devil will come with every type of deception for those who are perishing.

Readers: Please IGNORE all my postings here. I was a recent convert and fell into errors, even heresy for which hopefully my ignorance excuses. These include rejecting the "rhythm method," rejecting the idea of "implicit faith," and being brieflfy quasi-Jansenist. I also posted occasions of sins and links to occasions of sin, not understanding the concept much at the time, so do not follow my links.

  • I know many if not most here will  regard me as a Zionist dupe.  They may surprised to see me post that this is just plain silly.  I don't see how any religious Jєω could regard Jesus at best deluded and mentally ill and at worst an intentional and contumacious heretic.  Unless, of course, they think the Gospels are a collection of fables with no historical content at all.
Stir up within Thy Church, we beseech Thee, O Lord, the Spirit with which blessed Josaphat, Thy Martyr and Bishop, was filled, when he laid down his life for his sheep: so that, through his intercession, we too may be moved and strengthen by the same Spir

Agree (except for the "Zionist dupe" part). A first century Judean and a modern day Jєω are so different in ethnicity and religious practices as to make you wonder if they even come from the same planet.

The moniker "Jєω" dates back to maybe the 14th century. The Gospels use the word "Judean" as in "resident of the country of Judea". Jesus' pedigree was a pure descent from David who was a member of the tribe of Judah living in the country of Judea in the kingdom of Israel. Today, we refer to a person from any one of the 12 Tribes as a "Jєω".

  • So, you don't think I am a Zionist dupe?  Why thank you.  You are one of the few here then.

I oppose Zionism. I think it has brought much misery into the world.

  • As a Roman Catholic I abhor and vehemently oppose both Zionism and Judaism. I do not hate Jєωs or Zionists. Those who mean well but are sucked into Zionism and who have Zionist leanings can rightly be called Zionist dupes, even though they may not like the term.
