  • Does anyone know of any good modern Theologians that I could contact online and would be willing to answer questions regarding the Holy Scriptures and apologetics?

  • Francisco J. Romero-Carrasquillo is one of the brightest around.  Then of course there is Fr. Peter Scott with the SSPX.  Fr. Ripperger is a sound theologian as well.

Thanks very much. If I want to contact Mr. Romero-Carrasquillo would I use the email listed on the right-hand side of that site? I've contacted Fr. Scott but, due to all the emails he receives, I probably wont receive a response very soon. Also, how could I contact Fr. Ripperger?

    Thanks again.

Yes, you can contact Professor Romero via that email address.  I would recommend signing up on his blog so you can ask your questions directly through his website.  He is very accessible and amiable.  Fr. Scott has always been accessible as well through his email.  Fr. Ripperger can be contacted at info@sensustraditionis.org.

    Thanks for your help.

I contacted Fr. Scott through the email service on The Angelus magazine's website, and the person there sent my email to Fr. Scott and said that it may be a while before I get a response since there are many other emails ahead of mine.

  • And if anyone else can suggest other theologians in addition to these as well that would also be helpful.

  • Any other suggestions? Particularly I'm looking for a theologian or apologist who specializes with the Scriptures.

  • Hi Dylan,

Father Scott, a very good and pious priest is now in Canada (i.e. near Kitchener Ontario, which for you Yanks is about 120 miles North West of Buffalo N.Y.)

The following public URL has his direct email (I'm not sure if this is the one published in the Angelus magazine) and phone numbers.

    URL: http://sspx.ca/olmc/index.htm

Just scroll down to the bottom of the page.

    Blessed Lent,

    Peter

  • Probably the best theologian of the 20th century was Fr. Reginald Garrigou-Lagrange, O.P.

Also, there is Msgr. Joseph Clifford Fenton who was head of the dogmatic theology department at Catholic University of America.

They both wrote theological works in pre-Vatican II times.

  • Would anyone happen to know how to contact "Charles the Hammer", the apologist who runs www.catholicapologetics.net?

  •  Also specifically, does anyone know of an apologist who specializes in refuting Judaism (from a theological standpoint) or a Christian historical scholar knows a lot about 1st Century Judea?
