From the quoted statement from Harvard seniors, above:

"Furthermore, they are cowards—if the Satanic Temple were seeking to truly foster campus dialogue, they would not have chosen this time when students are busy and stressed with finals. We are saddened that our last days on campus as seniors will forever be tarnished by Harvard sanctioning hateful acts against the most important thing in our lives: our Catholic Faith."

This is a powerful statement, which appeals to the natural good sense of the readers. You don't even have to have any faith to recognize that this announcement alone of the black mass has inflicted irreparable and hurtful damage on the memories of this senior class of 2014.

This could be sufficient reason to demand that president Drew G. Faust should forthwith resign, since his name and his legacy can not be restored. He has shown himself to be a traitor and gross offender of the senior classmen, since it is his job to protect their school from such infamy. He has failed. His only reprieve comes from the fact that he canceled the event, albeit at the last moment.

Drew G. Faust shall go down in infamy as the idiot who approved a black mass during Finals Week at Harvard University. He should count his blessings that he did not miss the opportunity to cancel it before his name would have been under a much worse ignominy.

These poor, poor human beings that find themselves involved with something so dark and evil.

They are pathetically serving the devil who has already lost! His loss is already baked into the cake. He has no chance of winning; he's just pounding the air and going through the motions. His whole existence is hopeless. He has nothing to hope for or look forward to, and the duped people who follow him aren't much better off.

We, on the other hand, can be proud to be serving the King of Kings. Being a servant of such a great King is actually a great honor.

Being the devil's prince is a much lower station than a humble servant of the Most High God. One's status is always proportional to the greatness of the one we serve.

Being President of some tiny island in the Pacific isn't as elevated as being President of the United States.

But he can't even be happy about the number of souls he snatches from God. Each soul will add to his own eternal suffering.

His lot is still a miserable one.

Imagine you caught your wife "in flagrante" in the state of adultery. You've basically lost your life right there. No more happy family life, etc.

Now the devil does the only thing he can do -- act out on his envy, and try to ruin other souls.

Likewise, the spurned husband could get out a gun and kill the strange man and/or his wife. But would that REALLY make him happy? The man is going to be unhappy afterward either way. Having killed his adulterous wife won't make him feel any better, really. His life is just as ruined.

In fact, what he thinks will help him feel "a bit better" actually makes things worse. After all, a man will likely follow it up by shooting a 3rd person -- himself. Sometimes the children of his ruined marriage are murdered as well. But since murder is not approved by the State even if it's motivated by punishing adultery, the man faces lots of prison time (along with all the associated violence and guard-on-prisoner and prisoner-on-prisoner rape) if he doesn't commit ѕυιcιdє.

Yes. I learned also that with each souls the devil brings to hell, his suffering increases, but he still wants to cause more souls to be damned because he hates God and men so much.
