  • We ought to pray to the Immaculate Conception, the Virgin Mother of God, who had been declared celestial Patroness of the American Republic by the Sixth Provincial Council of Baltimore (1846), that she may vouchsafe us the conversion of the each State singly, together with the Federal Union as a whole, to the Catholic faith and to right reason!

Please ignore all that I have written regarding sedevacantism.

  • The Virgin Mary looks like St. Thérèse of Lisieux there.

  • Happy 4th of July, everyone! I'll be eating BBQ, no doubt. I'd love to attend a TLM tomorrow but can't since I don't have one.
Please ignore ALL of my posts. I was naive during my time posting on this forum and didn’t know any better. I retract and deeply regret any and all uncharitable or erroneous statements I ever made here.

  • What about old style anniversaries?  That's a problem with the Gregorian calendar - anniversaries.

I think the Church leaves it to the laymen to commemorate anniversaries of events in salvation history.

Since you mention it, I think one of the things we need is a Crusader's Memorial Day, where we honor not only the pilgrim soldiers of the original Crusades, but all the men (and women) who fought for the freedom of the Church and the Rights of Christ the King at one time or another.
