  •   Stoning of prostitues is an anciet custom. It kills the person as capital punishment does.
Capital punishment is used for punishing crimes like willful killing.
But isn't prostituation also a form of willful killing?
When a man catches AIDS, he will transmit it to his wife and children. Such a woman knows these facts, but doesn't heed.
It is murder of the innocent people. Maybe the man deserves it, but what about his poor wife and children?

  • It's okay to think stoning might be too extreme a punishment for prostitution.  But it's not okay to pretend that such punishments make a country that practices them worse than the European states, that accept all sorts of infamy.

  •   I am not for or against capital punishment. It is for experts to judge and decide. Neither I want to defend or attack people.
I just want to point to the fact that such infamies can be equal to murder. So those who are for capital punishment should consider this.
