  • Yes, Judaism 101 was taken down today: "In accordance with Section 25(a) of the ProBoards Terms of Service, this forum has been taken offline."

Anticipating that the day would come, all the files are safely archived.

Can anyone suggest a host for Judaism 101?

    Cathinfo is hosted by CyrusOne.
Is the problem with ProBoards as an operating forum template provider,
not the actual domain host ?

There was no communication, only the site was replaced by a page that referenced "Section 25(a)" of the TOS.

Can anyone comment on CathInfo's CyrusOne experience?

Does anyone know a trad web designer?

At this point I am most inclined to build a site in a free speech privacy haven. Beside the topical Judaism 101 tracts, I rather like the idea of including a "Jєω News" aggregation page, something like the "Laugh or cry?" section on the defunct site.

  • Mark79 if your objective is to repost what you consider to be original
or indespensible content on the internet then couldn't you get permission
from Matthew to repost some of the content on another free blog service ?
I don't know if it's really worth the time, right ?
Proboards is a forum software provider that allows free use within its
TOS and has some anti-ad-blocking preferences.
It's essentially freeware run by one man, Patrick Clinger of California.
This has nothing to do with CyrusOne.

  • Matthew has already hosted the content, albeit in a much older, less refined, and less detailed iteration: http://www.cathinfo.com/index.php/Judaism-101Judaism-in-its-own-words-2
