I'm wondering "What happened? Did Israel succeed on their 4th attempt to nuke Iran? Did a car bomb go off somewhere? Did Bush fire another one of his staff?"

In the good old days, a man shooting his sick horse was NOT front page news.

But that's before you had the "Hollywood effect" of making some humans, horses, and dogs more important than others...

No one cares if Joe Blow puts down his Collie, but if "Lassie" dies, then everyone cares. Why? Lassie is no more of a dog than my neighbor's.

Shows how dumb mass-entertainment and sports are -- they lead to stuff like this.
