  • I wish I could see my avatar.  John Vianney is a cool Saint to look at when posting.  I miss it.  He is quite an inspiration, no human respect there.  Reminds me a bit of Saint Alphonsus De Liguori when it comes to the teaching on Hell and on how we all can go there.  He reminds me a bit of Saint Jerome as well, and Saint John the Baptist, did I mention Saint Thomas More.  The opposite of the Herod's and Henry's of this world.  Willing to lose their heads instead of saving face instead of the opposite.

Friends in this world might be few and far between but we have countless friends in Heaven, rooting us on, and occasionally shielding their eyes in horror when they witness our maliciousness the lack of the most basic decent civil respect we should show to one another.  They see these sins for what they are as we often times, if at all, do not.
"I receive Thee, redeeming Prince of my soul. Out of love for Thee have I studied, watched through many nights, and exerted myself: Thee did I preach and teach. I have never said aught against Thee. Nor do I persist stubbornly in my views. If I have ever expressed myself erroneously on this Sacrament, I submit to the judgement of the Holy Roman Church, in obedience of which I now part from this world." Saint Thomas Aquinas the greatest Doctor of the Church
