Considering the author is a Doctor of Divinity, the book was researched and published in the late 1800's and the subject matter, I don't have a problem with the lack of an imprimatur.
The garbage we read on line certainly doesn't have one and many people take it as gospel.

The author has very good credentials and apparently is above suspicion.
I just imagined that when the Index was active, all books concerning religion had to have the imprimatur from the local bishop before being published.

Whenever something like this is exposed, when the following sentence REVERSES the meaning, 100% of those of good will are convinced by the truth. This is valuable to the service of truth.

I wish there were some way to teach people things like this WITHOUT a poche, but I don't believe it's possible.

Yes, this was exactly what I stated when I supported the presence of Poche.

It also confirms my theory that bad ideas can and should be fought with good ideas, not with censorship.

As I said in that thread, when Truth exposes a lie, it cements the consequential conviction with greater strength than a simple teaching.

It also consolidates my belief that this platform can benefit souls in a way that, perhaps, it was never designed to do at its inception.
