  •   I envy your family....
I envy your family, when I see how different you are from us.
I am the first Child of my parents. My mother always tells me how problematic was my birth, infancy, nursing, teething, weaning, eating, learning to walk, going to school etc. etc.
She doesn't hide it from me. Yes, I can't deny it, I was the cause of their divorce.
I survived miscarriage, was born all black, then place into an incubator.
though my IQ is above 140, I always behaved like younger children.
As a result, my parents spend rest of their married life quarreling with one an other about "whose fault it was" each one accused the other of some delibarate negligence.  till they ended in divorce.See how different is Jehanne's story with that of my parents.
He is in love with his wife, after so many problems.
Perhaps it is the effect of the grace of Sacrament of Matrimony.

Well, I will deny it FOR YOU.  That is a load of crap, and you need to drop that evil thought like the unwanted, undeserved weight that it is.

    Godspeed, sweet lady.

  • No, you were not the cause of their divorce.  They were.

And you are the cause of the virtue of Hope for many around here!

I was balck the first hours, due to shortage of oxygene, not because of race.
In Iran, we are something between europeans and indians.
Neither that white, nor back at all. (I know that it doesn't matter anyway!)

I understand.  I was born jaundiced, which gives a newborn baby a yellowish hue.  I, too, was placed in an incubator -- like the little chicks!

Wow!  Well, my marriage is not perfect.  It is the first for both of us, and we have been married for 13 years.  (Nasty number.)  However, we almost got divorced after the birth of our first daughter in 1997.  One time my wife was so mad at me, she went down to the courthouse herself to see if she could file without an attorney.  Then, after conceiving our second child, she threatened to have an abortion.  I told her that if she went through with it (the abortion) that it would "be the fastest divorce in the history of Iowa."  Fortunately, we were so poor that we only had one car, and I made it clear to her that she would suffer excommunication for such an act.  Our second child was born just under 9 months later in 1998, a little "overdone," in fact.  We had 2 more children ("kids") after that.

So, no, my marriage has not been perfect.  Read some more of my threads, and you will see that I will be unemployed a week from Friday!!
