You need to quit the entire internet for a time.  I say this as a person who has had to quit things myself before, because they were bad for me, even if they were not objectively evil.  I had to tell my boss I needed to quit going to trade shows because I found them to be an occasion of sin.  Not everyone needs to boycott trade shows, of course, but I did.  In the same way, you need to quit the internet.  

I will be seeing my spiritual director this weekend and will probably be discussing this with him.  What do you think are the signs that I ought to quit the Internet?

Do not consider her a friend any longer, rather, consider her (and that forum) to be one of some influence over you which has already proved to be able to sway you away from heaven and toward hell. We, as Catholics, are taught to run, not walk away from that.

If she is a true friend, then she will bend to the truth with you, not remain against you in this important matter.
