  • Does anyone know what outlook Japanese Catholics had on the Emperor, WWII in general, etc? (during the war that is)

    I recall vaguely reading of a (I believe he was Catholic) Japanese politician who condemned the atrocities at Nanking.

    Also I know that there were Catholic priests trying to negotiate for peace.
