Is anyone else having a lot of trouble accessing CI? I keep getting errors.

Oh, it's my webhost.

CI is the same from day to day, week to week -- same # of people, no changes to the software, etc.

But sometimes the server just totally freaks out about the CPU load, etc.

It has to be some other website living on that server is making the PIE smaller, which makes my site take up a larger piece of the (smaller) pie.

It's not just you.

One tip: once I get the "exited with an error" message, I usually have to refresh the page (F5) to get CathInfo to load again.

For some reason, I have fewer problems when I access CI with my phone than with my laptop.

For what it's worth,

Beware of pop-up ads urging you to let them help you speed up your computer.

Some of those are put out by scammers who need your permission before they can get into your system software.

I know two people who made the fatal mistake of clicking "OK."

In both cases, they ended up having to wipe and reload their OS to avoid paying the dirty *-s a "service fee" to unlock their computer (and if they tried to go around it, every day the service fee price got higher).

At odd times, I have a delay getting a page to reload, like while using Preview for a post. I open a new tab and type CathInfo.com in the URL bar (Enter), but sometimes it takes a minute or two for the page to show up. Once it does, then I can go back to my earlier tab and my Preview is ready to be viewed.
