Great --

So if China or Russia decided to invade the country tomorrow, we wouldn't be able to mobilize much of an army because American youngsters don't spend enough time in the real world, and they are fat and out of shape from watching too much Internet, porn, TV and video games.

You know, normally that's what keeps invaders from invading -- the threat of the nation's military, or potential military. If you have a nation where 75% of the youth can't serve for health reasons, why not invade?

Like I said, even if no "doom" happens in the next 3 years, it's still over for America. Our days are numbered with news like this. It's only a matter of "when". Either "the world as we know it" will be taken away quickly during a weeks' time, or slowly over 5 years' time. Take your pick.

A good place to start is ask about all the Catholic money infested in the medical industrial establishment, why is there nothing to show in the alternative health remedies? The Catholic establishment = the World.
It is pretty obvious from this Pentagon youth report that Paul Craig Roberts is right about his article "US Joins Ranks Of Failed States". Anybody want to write an article telling the US Bishops of their "failed faith" and its effects on our world.

Jesus cursed the fig tree that would not bear fruit. Would it be a crime to stop all financial support of the apostate church? Would anyone here know a better place to support Christian charities that does not support apostasy?

One thing that keeps invaders out is gun ownership and the know-how to use one..plus some testosterone, which is in short supply nationally.....

It is very rare to find an intelligent person today except in forums like this. Most people get their opinions from the TV, and the mass media. Most are unaware that disaster lurks just around the corner such as an economic collapse, and world war three that could be prompted by the serious economic situation in this country, and the world. I totally agree most 18-24 year olds are completely worthless, self-absorbed out of shape nihilists with no desire to serve anyone or anything much less their country.

That said, the military has adopted the ridiculous "Body Mass Index" used by the CDC to set their weight standards. The CDC most likely uses this standard so they can find a higher % of Americans overweight and exaggerate the admittedly high numbers even further in order to get funding for their agency to "combat it" with worthless and wasteful informational handouts, seminars, self-help groups, and more governmental control of our lives through dictating to us what we can and can't eat.

For instance, according to the CDC a 6 foot 184 lb. man is OVERWEIGHT. In metric that is a 1.83 meter 83.5 kilogram man. That is patently absurd, especially if the man has any muscle mass on him to speak of.

If this is the Army's ridiculously low standard of admission they will end up with a bunch of soldiers who have the physique of Golum from Lord of the Rings.

The Army should not focus so much on arbitrary weight standards as FITNESS standards. If a guy can run a mile in 5 minutes, do I really give a crap if he's 6 feet 200 lbs?

Anyway, just my thoughts....

Tehy use that in police work too, at least some departments...they wind up recruiting skinny guys and often exlcude the muscular ones........knew a guy that was built like a wrestler, muscular and fit, they rejected him due to his BMI,etc.....then hired a lot of skinny guys that might could run good, but in a fight, would rather have the wrestler guy.....to boot, this guy was just out of Marines!!!
