  • ... that whenever any of this is spoken of in the FishEaters forums, the three same people are always there to gang up on you. :bricks:

Its so sad to see such gullibility.  I can't believe such brainwash has infiltrated the traditionalist circles!

Are there any forums out there that are for SSPX only?

Meh. People have differences of opinions on this kind of stuff. Just pray for them (and if they're wrong, they'll really need it!).

EDIT: I assume you're talking about Zionism, etc. and not the Catholic Faith itself, right?

  • I speak of all forces among our planet's political and corporate leaders that work in some way to PURPOSELY harm Catholics and Catholicism.

But yes, Zionism being one of those forces.

Now, does anyone know of any SSPX only forums out there?

  • CS,

I believe there are some forums that are, more or less, SSPX only.  I am not certain of their addresses, as I do not frequent them myself.  However, I think AQ is along those lines, no?

Anyway, imo, the SSPX has its own issues with infiltrating men who wish to do harm to the world/Church.  Do you think those who brought us to this point would not use the same tactics in their regard?  Post-V2 infiltration is an easier game, in a way, as the circles that one needs to penetrate are much smaller.  Those who caused the problem have also tried very hard to manage the reaction thereto.  Be careful, my friend.

  • I don't care what issues they have, I care about what they stand for.

So, no one knows of any SSPX only forums?  AQ is too friendly with FishEaters and from what I hear the owners have some agreements.

  • Well, I find it a bit disturbing that you do not seem to care if they have their share of infiltrators - who do, by the way, seriously effect what they stand for (and they have not refrained from washing a brain or two along the way).  Perhaps that is best left to another thread.  Good luck.

  • What would you expect to find at an SSPX-only forum? There are so many reasons why one would attend an SSPX chapel or show support for the SSPX that I'm sure the individuals would be just as diverse in opinions--especially concerning topics like Zionism.

  • As Catholics we MUST oppose Zionism.  It doesn't matter what group of Catholics we are with.

Its not that SSPX supporters might agree that Zionism is bad, its that I expect the SSPX supporters to KNOW its bad and conflicts with Catholicism.

If someone is an SSPX supporter and supports Zionism then they are lying.

I'm looking for an SSPX forum, because I believe that the Moderators of such a forum would not tolerate those that agree with or don't care either way about certain issues that Catholics SHOULD oppose.

I tire of the lukewarmness and at times hostility of the Indult attenders.

But I will remain at FishEaters to continue to debate, but I can't LEARN from the people at FishEaters, I hope to learn from the SSPX supporters, because they are more unified and are aware that their are certain issues you should NOT be varied in opinion on.

  • And so what's wrong with this forum? It meets all of your criteria except the unmentioned one of not having a great deal of traffic. However, it can only be expected that the more you water down the truth, the more people you will attract. If you're tired of Mods interfering with a legitimate discussion, just move it over here and invite those with a brain to join you.

EDIT TO ADD: This certainly isn't an SSPX-only board, but you wouldn't have to worry about being moderated away from having a Catholic perspective.

  • I heard that Angelqueen is very pro-SSPX, but for some reason I don't enjoy that board.

Normally I say everything with conviction, as applying to everyone, because I base my view on solid, objective principles -- but not this one.

Maybe it seems a bit too well-swept? (moderated?)

There's nothing more frustrating than to contribute, only to have your 15, 30, or 45 minutes of typing erased at the whim of a moderator.

Like MaterDominici said, there is a problem that the more focused you get, the fewer people there are going to be.

You find that with dating websites. Match.com has millions, CatholicMatch.com has 10's of thousands, and TraditionalCatholicSingles.com probably has hundreds. If there were an SSPXTraditionalCatholicSingles, it would probably have dozens.

    See what I'm getting at?

I think that "indult types" wouldn't enjoy the good, solid, but sober discussions that take place here. Facing the truth about what's coming is not pleasant to those who aren't used to fighting the world.

That's why I have no problem with sedevacantists being here, even though we have some disagreements. I figure there is plenty we can talk about. At least they tend to be serious about the Faith, the world, daily life, etc. and that is something we can have in common.

Apply my dating site analogy to friendships and you'll understand that unless you're willing to put up with SOME differences, you'll never have any friends :)

There aren't too many people just like me, that's for sure!  :franken: :clown: :dancing: :reporter: :headbanger: :bob-marley:

    I hope this helps,

    Matthew

  • Campy, you aren't going to find a traditional Catholic forum on the web that is as open as this one is regarding the issues you want to discuss. My advice? If you see any Catholics on the web who seem to be open minded and not afraid to talk about these things contact them privately and tell them about this place. Matthew has already done a tremendous job setting up the infastructure here... all we need are the people.

  • I think colorandthenoise has the right idea --

Sometimes, when there's a real need for something, it hasn't been invented yet (and that becomes YOUR job to fill that need)

That's kind of what I've done with this site.

I'm no stranger to coming up with unique things that didn't exist before. In fact, if I can't fill a real need, then I don't bother (some people like getting into "frays" where they realistically have no edge or advantage)

For instance, if I had started a music CD website, that would have been stupid. We already have Amazon.com, etc. but instead I made a Gregorian Chant website, with some CDs that aren't sold anywhere else. So it's worth bothering with.

So anyhow, I agree that the best way is to help this one get more traffic -- just PM or e-mail those who have a brain, so we can have even more interesting discussions here  :detective:

    God bless,

    Matthew
