Thought about getting some of Yiruma's music once, might look at his stuff again, my first thought was it's just a little repetitive for me but borderline perhaps... I'm not an as knowledgeable as I'd like on what makes for good music or not.
If you like Yiruma, try Toshiyuki Watanabe's 'Paused Wind' album, I listen to the entire thing from 'White Fantasy', 'Falling Snow' to 'The Rosy Sky in the Winter'. It's always on my play list. Isao Sasaki has some songs too like 'Butterfly in the Rain'
I tend to listen to music I can have on in the background that is mentally stimulating and aesthetically pleasing but not distracting, so I can read and work and pray.
