huumm ---- Maybe that explains why he never answered me when I asked him to tell us something about himself when he first came here & posted in Introduce Yourself. Nothing but complete silence. I thought it rather odd. Most people love talking about themselves. Did he have something to hide?
Actually, I never went back to that thread. I didn't see the point. But it's a nice theory when that is what you would like to believe.
A little about myself: I was born in 1420 in Valladolid Spain. I entered the Dominican monastery of San Pablo when I was quite young. After being made prior of the monastery of Santa Cruz I served as confessor to Princess (and then Queen) Isabella I. I served as Grand Inquisitor of Spain from 1483 until my death in 1498. I am, unfortunately, one of the most maligned figures in Church history. But that's ok. I can take it.
I like good beer, fine tobacco, and long walks on the beach.
What else can I provide for you fine gentlemen?
