Well since God made it I can't imagine why there should be a problem providing it is used responsibly.

There is no way to use tobacco responsibly.  God made toadstools too, but that doesn't make them safe to consume.

But I doubt that smoking is, in and of itself, objectively mortally sinful.

You DOUBT?  LOL!  I am absolutely CERTAIN that smoking, in and of itself, is not sinful in any way, shape or form.

What next?  Is someone going to ask whether or not eating at McDonald's, while arguably unwise, is mortally sinful?  Will we see a list of all McDonald's items with some kind of sin-rank next to each one?

McDonaldland Cookies...low-grade venial sin...
Six-piece McNuggets...mid-level venial sin...
Quarter Pounder Meal...high-level venial sin...
Any Super-sized meal...low-grade mortal...
Multiple Big Macs...just kill yourself now and burn forever you stultified glutton!

People, smoking -- IN SE -- is NO SIN AT ALL.

It may not be sinful.  It is, however, really stupid.

I stand corrected.  I gave you a thumbs up for your fraternal correction.

Good for you and thank you.  I returned the favor.  Apparently some irrational, fact-deprived ass-wipes still saw fit to thumb me down for what can only be surmised are absolutely emotional motives!  LOL!  Anyway, carry on and know that smoking, IN SE, is not a sin of any variety, which is not to say that some smokers are not sinning by continuing to smoke when other factors alter the moral landscape.

A blessed and peaceful weekend to all...even my most committed enemies  :dancing:

Well, I am down-thumbing you for profanity.
