I am really puzzled. I used to believe that when God willes sth, it will be done, no matter how many people disagree, no matter how many powerful men plan to prevent it. when God says for example :"this house will not be built" it simply will not be built, even if all mankind plan to do so.
But some speak as though God is not independant, as though He must take permission from every guy and gall before doing anything....."everything depends on your choice".... "God cannot voilate your free will"," He can do nothing if you/we don't cooperate"
then Divine promises are nulified?
1-there will always be some catholics in the world....what if all people decide to apostesize?
will God oppose human will?
He must oppose it if He wants to fulfill His promises. He promised to keep the Church, therefore He either opposes those who want to destroy her, or He makes Himself a liar.
He opposed Herod's plan to kill Jesus. He opposed that of lustful men who wanted to rape St. Agatha.
And I know that it is not a democracy, God will not ask our permission, He will do what He wants, what His eternal widoms deems the best.
any ideas?
