  • Hello.
I am a 21 year old man from Denmark considering conversion to Rome.
My current parish is a bit liberal and I would like for to know weather or not it is possible to go to a private class with a traditional priest instead of taking an RCIA class were I learn about how Catholicism is about respecting other religions or something like that.
I am willing to travel a far distance for that.

  • Perhaps someone here knows of a good priest that can do on-the-phone Catechism classes. That way you would not have to travel. I wish I knew one personally but I do not.

I will pray for you someone sends you a contact.

In the meantime, buy the book My Catholic Faith, and read it daily. It is the book that the priests use for classes.

    God bless

  • Would you be willing to travel to the UK, Germany, or France?

Would it be possible to relocate to another country where you could find a Traditional Latin Mass?

Perhaps you could take your vacation time and spend several weeks at a time.
    Lord have mercy.

Phone Catechism? Only if there is a priest willing to do it. I knew a priest that did pre-Cana/marriage preparation classes over the phone because he couldn’t always meet in person with the engaged couple, as he was a traveling missionary priest.
Maybe someone here knows a priest that can help you based on your current circuмstances.

What you really need for now is the Catechism book, My Catholic Faith, and then hopefully you can find a priest to answer any additional questions you may have. Maybe start writing down those questions that you are needing clarification on too.

Don’t forget to continue praying for and asking God for guidance.

  • It seems there is traditional Mass said near the Budolfi lutheran cathedral in Aalborg, Denmark. There is a website which has the times Mass is said. The priest there seems to be Father Håkan Lindström. There is a Latin Mass community in Copenhagen. Their website is http://katolikker.dk/ and their church is Jesu Hjerte Kirke in 4A, Stenosgade, København, Denmark, 1616. In English, I recommend this book and this  (also ).

  • My Catholic Faith (1949) by Bishop Morrow.  This book is now in reprint by SSPV and Angelus Press.
Used copies are available on line and on Ebay.  Do NOT buy one dated after 1961.
    Or read online below.
