Greetings in Christ brothers & sisters,
I hope you are all doing well, spiritually and temporally, during this blessed Lent.
I am a convert to Roman Catholicism. I was baptized by the late Fr. Bourmaud and confirmed by Bishop Fellay last year. I was a Catechumen prior to that for approximately two years. I came to the Church through the SSPX, but I now attend the Holy Sacrifice at various parishes associated with other groups depending on the circuмstances of my weekly schedule.
I am not a Sedevacantist, but I think it is a valid theological opinion to hold. I am, however, a dedicated follower and admirer of Fr. Feeney, Fr. Wathen, and Archbishop Lefebvre; God rest their holy souls.
I am married with children, but separated from my wife. She was vehemently opposed to my conversion and decided that she no longer wanted to be with me after I became Catholic. I used to violently hate Christianity like her too; actually more than her, but my heart was guided by the Graces of God. She wants to raise the children to hate the Church and I for them to love the Church. It’s a very painful situation. Please pray for her conversion.
I am currently resuming my pursuit of a Civil Engineering degree as I had to stop schooling for a while to support my family.
I joined this forum because I am quite lonely; especially as a Traditional Catholic. I don’t really have any friends and I don’t have many family members who are alive. I hope to make good friends here. More than anything else though, I want to make it to heaven even though I am unworthy of such a dream.
Lastly, I hope to contribute fruitfully as a member of this forum.
May God Bless you all.
In Christ, Mary, & Joseph.
