  • I am Minnesota, who was once a Cathinfo user, but took a long break and lost his password AND his email. It is good to be back.

    Pray for each other always!

  • Hello!

I am SperaInDeo's wife. As he has mentioned in his introduction, we both have been lurking for a few years. I am just now making an account because I have heard that there is a women's only forum that may serve as a useful resource for me as a wife and mother. I need all the help I can get!  :laugh1:

    God bless!

  • Why can't I make new topics in the "General Discussion" board? Is that normal?

For some time there had been abuse of the General Discussion forum.  Members tended to just start new threads there so avoid having to think about where to put them and not because they really belonged there, so Matthew blocked posting in that forum.  I do find that some topics genuinely belong there and I have to squeeze them into some loosely-related sub-forum.

I do wish there were an easier way to get a longer "Recent Threads" listing, however, since if a thread doesn't appear on the short list, I end up having to poke around various sub-fora looking for it.  Perhaps there is but I don't know how to find it.

  • I believe as Catholic, that God is Love.

    So:

God says : "I Love you"

    My answer is:

    Thank's Lord for Loving me.

Thanks also for your Love passing through
    my heart into others hearts.

Let's let God Love us all.

By the way, I can't seem to be able to write a subjet, thanks.
    God bless.

  • I can't make topics so I'm posting this here:

Three different websites. You can find this vulgar crap just about anywhere, but I'm not traipsing about the web for anymore eye-gouging samples. It occurs in the real world too, mostly among the big stores and grocery chains. I call it Soylent Deco, and I believe there are architectural expressions of this blasphemous regicide against all form. Its that rounded-edge, like your Fortune 500 mother corp has rounded all the edges in the city so you don't miss work from bumping into a wall while staring at your Apple virtual life simulator...

    Trash.

Hello, my name is Matthew. I became Christian after a long rebellion, and I'm attending RCIA taken from the Baltimore Catechism. A deacon gave me the Council of Trent too, so most of my questions can be answered without going online. I loved the Mass the first time I saw one, and I was raised calvinist and had contempt for smells and bells my whole life. I hope to be married and a father some day, I think that's my calling, but I'm about as closed and dour a character as Flay, in Titus Groan.

  • Thank you!  I will. :)

I'm not able to get the thumbs up button to work.

    Also, I can't find a list of my threads/posts.

Is there a place I can turn for help or should I email, Matthew?

  • You have to have a certain number of posts or length of membership, I think.
    It doesn’t take long.

  • I've been a lurker for several years. While we are still able to communicate I wanted to thank Matthew and all the members of Cathinfo. I have learned a lot from the discussions and debate. I've come to see you all as friends and rarely go a day without checking in on CI.
I heard Mass and received communion today for all of you today. If we don't meet in this life I hope to see you all on the other side of this vale of tears.
Patience is a conquering virtue. The learned say that, if it not desert you, It vanquishes what force can never reach; Why answer back at every angry speech? No, learn forbearance or, I'll tell you what, You will be taught it, whether you will or not.

Welcome Emile and thank you for your Mass intentions!
