    Greetings Everyone.

I am looking forward to some lively discussion with fellow Catholics!

I would like to be upfront and let everyone know that I believe the Chair of Peter to be vacant since the death of Pope Pius XII.  I have arrived at this position through logical analysis and much prayer.  I do not look down on anyone who holds opposing views, however I believe this to be the only logical conclusion.  I am very open to hearing other view points and I am happy to discuss this with anyone.

I am not a home-aloner, I attend a SSPX Chapel, I am under 40 years of age, I have been married for nearly 20 years, and my wife and I have 10 children.

I am a sinner, I have many faults, I don't claim to be a theologian, and I certainly do not believe that I have all the answers.

To have faith means to believe things that we don't entirely understand.  In this day and age, we are all called to have more faith...  These are certainly trying times we are living in and I hope to gain some insight by discussing issues on the forum.

God Bless you all, I will see you on the forum.

    Bellator Dei

Welcome.  I tend to agree with you. There are many here who do.

  • Hello my name is Jessa and I am 25 years old. I have just registered to this forum and this is a whole new experience for me. I am just really excited to be apart of conversations with like-minded people to gain and give perspective on topics all relating to this beautiful faith.

  • Hello,

I follow this forum since quite a while, but only now I decided to register and perhaps join some of the discussions. I'm a Polish traditional Catholic (revert from Evangelicalism), I attend SSPX chapel in the UK, I am interested in the theology of the Early Church. I am not a sedevacantist, but I would describe my position regarding today's crisis as very similar to the one presented by Ladislaus ("sede-doubtism").

    God bless you all!

  • Greetings, I gave an introduction before recently as I am new here. My name is Mark, 37 years old. I was baptized into the Catholic faith, but consider myself a convert as I didn't truly get involved in our faith until I became 20 years of age. After I heard how St. Pio begged his superiors not to make him say the mass of Vatican 2 made me think. Now for at least a few months now, I attend an SSPX Mass and I feel the difference. I'm learning more and more. I'd like to comment on the young lad about martial arts, keep studying it, as long as youdo not ccompromise the faith, your good. I too have practiced martial arts, it is very good to help keep in shape, teaches discipline, and is necessary for self defense. We must be ready both in spiritual and physical conditions. May Jesus and Mary bless you and keep you all. †

  • J.M.J.

    Name: James.
    Age: 34
    Location: Middle GA (Byron/Warner Robins)
    Occupation: Night auditor (11 p -7 a) at a local hotel.

Background: I'm a convert that entered the Church Easter 2012. I was agnostic the 7 years prior. I felt God tugging away at me. I attended my local Baptist "church" a time or two before I knew He was calling me to the Church. I had an unexplainable need to go to Confession. I believe that my past experience attending the NO with my grandparents when I was very young had an influence that God used. I discovered Catholic's Come Home and found out my local parish was starting a program soon, so I started attending that. I also started to pray the Rosary daily. I was prompted to find a parish near by that looked, and felt more like a catholic parish. I found St. Joseph's in Macon. It was great for a little while. I started attending R.C.I.A. there and upon completion was confirmed. I was attending the NO there while also attending the FSSP parish about 2 hrs away as often as I could until I started trucking and fell away.

I was briefly introduced to tradition by my R.C.I.A. sponsor. I've tried going back to the NO parish here and there over the past year to get back to attending Mass, but after I had been exposed to the TLM, the NO feels Protestant to me. I can just tell by looking at the NO and TLM side by side. Combined with the scandals of the Pope, Bishops, and priests, the destruction of the Faith, and the wreckovation of once beautiful parishes, I have to conclude that I can no longer accept VII and the NO. I do still believe, for better or for worse, that the Pope is the Pope, scandalous and heretical as he may be. I believe that we're still called to obedience in what he says that is correct and aligns with tradition, but respectful disobedience to his shenanigans.

I'm looking to find the Faith as it's been handed down to us by the Apostles. I don't want some watered down, heterodox, knock-off. I've stopped attending the NO, and the FSSP is too far for regular attendance. Since I can no longer in good conscience submit to VII and the NO, I don't feel that I can attend the FSSP which also holds the NO as valid. My rolls-can-barely is holding on by the dirt caked on it. Thankfully there is also a SSPX chapel here in GA, however it is also about 2 hrs away.

I'm still very new to the Faith over-all, and I still have A LOT to learn. I look forward to learning from, and with y'all. I can't think of anything else at the moment. I hope this doesn't seem too scattered. I'm fairly simple minded with a shoddy memory, and "uncircuмcised lips" as Moses once put it. I'm also pretty shy so please have patience with me.

  • Welcome.

Newborn Cath, I realized that we have a similar story. We both came back to the Church but very quickly realized something was up and left for the TLM. In me, it took a very short time. Hell, once I noticed myself saying all the responses in Latin at an English NO, I knew it was probably time to go. :roll-laugh2:

  • @newborn cath, its good you are sticking with the faith. You may message me anytime with any questions you may have. I really got into my faith back in 2000, but progressed since and had an interesting journey. And @stubborn, I thank you for your input. I feel as if I may learn more from you and those with a deeper knowledge than I. Pray for me as I will pray for you. May Jesus and Mary Bless you and keep you all. :)

  • Hello all!

I go by Tarcisius, but my real name I choose to keep to myself. I am a 22 year old, cradle Catholic, sedevacantist man. For work, I am a carpenter apprentice with a local union, and in my free time I am a volunteer firefighter. I hope to be a career firefighter someday, but I am happy with the career in which God has currently placed me, imitating his foster father :)

  • Hello and I love my Roman Catholic church.   I am Sandy B of the Washington DC Metro Area.  I am a member of the largest, by membership,  Catholic Church in Virginia.  I so love that my church, huge, but, many of us know each other anyway.  We have a very friendly family like church in general.  I am all about retirement and loving every moment.  Now I am 77 years old I love meeting new people so if you want to chat or talk Catholic or whatever I am open.  I play piano often and love the old songs of the 20's , through the 70's mostly.  I love to play show tunes also on the piano.  Church, music and friends that is me and what about you?  Sandy B
