My name is William, I am 18 years old and live in rural Hampshire, Southern England near the city of Winchester. I am a cradle Catholic, and came to tradition about 6 months ago. I am currently thinking about setting up a Catholic business when I leave school, but am debating whether or not to go to university (as my parents would fund it) or just go all in with the business. I would be willing to speak further to anyone who wants to re-constitute a catholic social order from the ground up. Deo Gratias.

Welcome William!
Persevere in rosary and mental prayer in whatever you decide to do in life and consecrate yourself to the Blessed Mother. She will take care of everything.

Yes, to Jesus through Mary, always, this consecration using the method
of St. Louis de Montfort is a treasure.

Hello!

I’m a cradle Catholic living in the United Kingdom. After many years away from Christ, I reverted to the faith during a stay in Ireland. I’m a family father and run a private business. My hobbies are spending time with my family outside, whittling, playing music and reading Scripture. I also study Roman Catholic theology, which I expect to complete in early 2027.

I do not attend the TLM or SSPX chapels, mainly because I have found a reverent Novus Ordo parish that upholds the sacred nature of the Holy Mass and the Eucharist. However, I would consider myself a traditional Roman Catholic, trusting in Our Lord’s promise that the gates of hell shall not prevail against His Church.

I’m here to learn more and to have good conversations.

Welcome Wolfgangus. I had to look up whittling as I had no idea what it was. Interesting hobby.

God Bless.

P.S. There are no novos ordo catholics here so be prepared for a bumpy ride. :)

Thanks! (:

I’m definitely not here to bash SSPX attendees or to argue with them. I’m not very familiar with the movement and am therefore willing to learn. I’ve seen some content from Taylor Marshall and Kennedy Hall and find them quite agreeable. I appreciate their love for tradition and value their insights into the pre-Vatican II Church.
That being said, I do not think the Novus Ordo is inherently bad, though many abuses associated with it certainly are. If I had even the slightest sense that Our Lord was being disrespected in my local church, we would move.

So yes, I’m happy to be here and to learn more.
