Welcome, rosarytrad! As for books, get the Fr. Lasance New Daily Roman Missal, reprint 1945 edition. It contains a very understandable method of praying the Mass, basic catechism, lots of prayers and devotions for all occasions, brief biographies of saints for every day, prayers for Masses for every day, nuptial Mass, Funeral Mass, holy days, explanations of the Mass, the vestments, the altar and sacred items, and a study plan for beginners. It’s a bit pricey, but we’ll worth the money. I don’t know if it matters to you, but it has the pre-1954 version of Holy Week, the second Confiteor, and no St. Joseph added to the canon. I know the SSPX uses the 1962 version, but it should make little difference in following along. I’ve been to a number of SSPX chapels and in all of them, the second confiteor was prayed although it isn’t in the ‘62 missal. The Fr. Lasance has so much more than the SSPX missal. As for other books, get a Duoay Rheims Bible. Search online, also, for traditional Masses, many are now live-streamed, thanks to Covid. There are also conferences, sermons, podcasts on Bitchute, Rumble, YouTube, although the latter is known for censoring and deleting truths they don’t like to hear. Be aware, also, that there are some off-the-rails sites calling themselves traditional Catholic. If something seems off, it probably is! If not sure, ask your priest!
