High speed chase in Booneville? How much was the ticket to begin with?
To the editor,
Once again, a recent front page article had a story about the
Booneville police in a high speed chase into the county. Word is, it
may be the same officer as last time. Officer Ramey was heard to say
it was about a traffic stop.
Is it so important to the Booneville police that they have to
recklessly endanger citizens on the roads in order to write a ticket?
This kind of police behavior has caused my friends and myself (from
Corinth and luka) to try to stay away from Booneville as much as
possible, even though we have family and friends living there.
This is exactly the reason people around the area are talking about
the Booneville police.
The danger they put people in with a high speed chase to write a
ticket is real. Can they not just get the tag number and arrest the
guy later? Wouldn't it be safer? More logical? Many states are
against chases, it endangers the officers as well as citizens.

P.S. Guess which leader of Booneville was recently seen doing their
shopping in Corinth?
