  • At my SSPX Chapel over the past two months, three times we had visitors. One was wearing a cassock and one was dressed like a nun in a mantilla. During Mass they are quiet and read from a book which is an introduction to the Latin Mass in Spanish. I think they are a Novus Ordo priest and nun. I haven't spoken to them yet, so I am not positive.

Is it common for a Novus Ordo priest and nun to visit an SSPX Chapel. Wouldn't it be more common for them to go to the Indult? I wonder if they are thinking about leaving the Novus Ordo. I wonder also if their superiors know they are going to an SSPX Chapel for Mass.
    R.I.P.
Please pray for the repose of my soul.

It is definitely rare, but it has happened before. That's how some Novus Ordo priests slowly converted to Tradition.

If my memory did not fail me, I recall having watched a video of an ordination Mass by Bishop Tissier in Germany, attended in choro by what looks like a Novus Ordo bishop.

Wow! A Bishop. That is surprising.
