  • Interesting handshake. I for one, have never shaken a man's hand like that....nor has anyone done the same to me. I looked on the interent, and it appears this handshake is very prominent in an organization called "Fɾҽҽmαsσɳɾყ."..........HMMMMMMMMM

  • Do you really think, if either the Pope or Bishop Fellay were actually Freemasons, they would be stupid enough to to use a masonic handshake in front of a camera?

Do you know how many Masonic handshakes have been given in front of cameras? It's a form of psychological battery. Sort of like with 9/11, they want you to know; the devil gets souls more easily when people go into denial about what is right in front of their faces.

In a way, it makes them complicit. Like when Antichrist comes, and people sense it must be him -- who else has that kind of power? -- yet they simply switch off their minds because they don't want to face it. This makes it very convenient for them, when Catholics are being tortured, to make an excuse for themselves and for their leader, and of course, he will come up with some slick excuse that they will lap up.

The devil loves it when people go into denial, and when he makes things really obvious, and they STILL go into denial, it just makes it worse for them. It's a kind of taunt, like he's saying to people "Compromisers, cowards, I'm going to show myself to you and you still won't do anything." To get to heaven, you have to love the truth, and fight evil. Just wanting to be nice doesn't cut it, because that kind of "niceness" leads to what I just described, going along with evil.

However, I have no idea if this was a real Masonic handshake. Even if SSPX isn't Freemasonic, it couldn't do the work of the Masons any more perfectly, so to me that is irrelevant.
Readers: Please IGNORE all my postings here. I was a recent convert and fell into errors, even heresy for which hopefully my ignorance excuses. These include rejecting the "rhythm method," rejecting the idea of "implicit faith," and being brieflfy quasi-Jansenist. I also posted occasions of sins and links to occasions of sin, not understanding the concept much at the time, so do not follow my links.

  • I doubt very seriouly that Bishop Fellay is a Mason, but it would not surprise me if Benedict is one.
Please ignore ALL of my posts. I was naive during my time posting on this forum and didn’t know any better. I retract and deeply regret any and all uncharitable or erroneous statements I ever made here.

  • Would  the Pope give that handshake to a non-Mason?  I thought that they only gave the handshake to members - kind of like a code or sign from one member to another.

Sure, usually by people who don't mind other people knowing they are Masons.  I expect both Bishop Fellay and Pope Benedict would mind this quite a lot.  Assuming that they are, of course, which I think is just a hair short of impossible.

  • There's scarcely been a Pope in the last 100 to 130 years that some crazy kook or the other on the internet has not accused of being involved in Masonry, usually on the flimsiest of grounds that would be :roll-laugh1: ed out of a court of law.
"Never will anyone who says his Rosary every day become a formal heretic ... This is a statement I would sign in my blood." St. Montfort, Secret of the Rosary. I support the FSSP, the SSPX and other priests who work for the restoration of doctrinal orthodoxy and liturgical orthopraxis in the Church. I accept Vatican II if interpreted in the light of Tradition and canonisations as an infallible declaration that a person is in Heaven. Sedevacantism is schismatic and Ecclesiavacantism is heretical.

Fake Tradionalist Catholics chimping out about nothing.  Fake forum, fake everything.  This forum has done nothing but made me realize Catholics on the internet are stupid tards.

Yes, masons always do secret things for media photo's.  Fake post, fake thread, fake everything.  Just a fake Catholic trying to stir up the pot.

  • I was a Mason. This  *is* a masonic handshake  (grip)

I have a hard time seeing how any non-Mason would 'happen' to end up in this grip.

  • Bishop Williamson's conference in Bristol, England, June 2012:
    http://www.youtube.com/user/TradCatBat/videos

    Go to Part 6:

Because there Bishop Williamson talks about...

    - Minute 12: ... the Freemasons being deeply into the Vatican.

    - Minute 13: ... that Bp Fellay does not believe in cօռspιʀαcιҽs or does not take them seriously, and that although in former times Bp Fellay talked about Freemasons inside the Vatican, today Bishop Williamson thinks that Bp Fellay doesn't think they're important (influential) anymore inside the Vatican.

    - Minute 14: ... this thread's photograph showing the Masonic handshake between B16 and Bp Fellay: "That's apparently a masonic handshake. But I don't know [..] Some say this (handshake) is not unconscious, but I don't know."

Pope Benedict appears to be just holding out his hand to Bishop Felley.  There doesn't appear to be in any sort of grip on the part of the Pope.  You have to be careful with reading too much into these types of pictures making assumptions of this nature.  It could be a perfectly innocent handshake.  Whenever I see what are purported to be images of freemasonic handshakes and other signals, I have to admit that I'm guilty of doing some of them myself and there is no way that I'm a freemason.
My conscience compels me to make this disclaimer lest God judges me partly culpable for the errors and heresy promoted on this forum... For the record I support neither Sedevacantism or the SSPX.  I do not define myself as either a traditionalist or Novus
