  • There were people in college that I thought had extraordinary memory skills as far as taking tests went.
Then I found out they were just cheating.

  • Who was that 'magician' who used to memorize the telephone book?
How do you tell the difference between someone with a real good memory and someone who is doing a trick?
But anyway exercising these mind games is said to stave of alzheimers and other age related memory loss difficulties.
Its a fascinating topic and reflects God's glory for the incredible brains he has given us.

  • I just skimmed the article and I don't know enough about frauds pretending to memorize, etc.

I can hardly memorize a Mozart piano sonata. So I find anybody that is good at memorization to be amazing.

I've known several illiterate people that memorize what would amount to an entire devotional book of prayers; also I've seen an illiterate person that was a living library of poetry (she's since past away, R.I.P.).
