    These storms

As usual the meteorologists got it wrong.  It must be nice to have a job where you're wrong 80% of the time and still keep that well paying job.  As I heard on a local all news and talk radio station, the reports of the wind storm has been rather overblown.

  • I am always curious about the different prophecies, but then again sometime we allow them to lead us, which is not good.

What we must remember, and we all know this, is to remain in the state of grace at all times.  Get to confession, even if we don't think we need it, confess a past sin, but tell the priest it is a past sin.  Confession is a sacrament!

These prophecies are so confusing.  Well that is my opinion of them.
    Please pray for my soul.

  • It was a very powerful storm - very heavy downpours.  I was half-soaked and had to go inside even under a covered porch, one moment dry, then a little gust of wind, and then practically soaked.

  • I live in Wisconsin, and it's still very windy here. The extent of what I've seen around here is broken tree branches, which is to be expected, but I haven't seen any major damage (thank God.) I heard south of here there was a tractor trailer that flipped over because of the wind. I've heard that in the southern part of the state there were actual tornadoes. I've heard north of here many are without power. It was garbage day the other day, and there were garbage cans blowing in the wind, balls left outside, et cetera, but as for any major stuff where I live, I haven't seen anything.

But let your speech be yea, yea: no, no: and that which is over and above these, is of evil.

In Michigan is was predicted to by like the wind storm of early November, 1975, during which the Edmund Fitzgerald sunk.  I remember that storm and this wasn't anything like that one.
