I don't like to be trigger happy when it comes to banning.

But seriously -- an open transsɛҳuąƖ on CathInfo? I don't think that works. I'm pretty sure the Catholic Church teaches that self-mutilation is sinful. It's not as though a Catholic transsɛҳuąƖ can licitly pursue perverted sɛҳuąƖ relationships as the opposite gender...there's simply no legitimate end for a Catholic in "having the surgery".

This is not about judging or being Pharisaical. Flaunting or promoting sin is not allowed here. If someone praised the "good" of some other sin, they would have to go as well! There is a world of difference between an average sinner (as in, "we're all sinners") and an unrepentant sinner who strives to convince others of the goodness of his sin!

And the whole idea of a "post surgery" transsɛҳuąƖ tends to militate against the common good. What if a man were deceived about the gender of the person he was talking to? What if a man (say a man with mental or psychological problems) were convinced to "fall in love" with such a one? Said man might be permanently corrupted by such an experience.

There has to be a good reason why the Church forbids "the surgery" to men and women with this particular spiritual/psychological problem.

It also implies that God made a major mistake. I know, in this fallen world major birth defects happen. But they prevent a person from functioning. If your only "defect" is that you're physically male, God obviously made you male. There are only two genders, Male and Female. God has a "binary gender outlook"!

Why would such a person feel female? That's beside the point. But I would suggest that many times these individuals are violated as children and sometimes they repress the memory. It usually takes some measure of trauma (including, but not limited to, being sodomized), rejection by the father, etc. to cause these cases. Most ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖs are "made, not born". They propagate by corrupting the young.

So if a person is born feeling like the opposite sex inside, it's a spiritual and/or psychological problem that needs to be dealt with in a spiritual and/or psychological way. But not by deceiving the whole world about your gender by having surgery to look like the opposite sex.

Remember: Everyone in the chain of so-called "gender-reassignment", from the doctor that approves of it, to the psychologist that recommends it, to the surgeon that performs the surgery, completely approves of a person pursuing that lifestyle afterwards. They recommend the surgery in one hand, and male-male relationships in the other. You won't find anyone that recommends the surgery WITHOUT also recommending its logical conclusion. The same people that approve of practicing transsɛҳuąƖs also approve of sodomy, various perversions, self-abuse, etc.

Anyhow, with regards to CathInfo, it's one thing to keep some "spice" in the soup, but here we're talking about 1/2 cup of gasoline or a teaspoon of arsenic...no thanks!

Especially as I see him flaunting his status as a male-to-female transsɛҳuąƖ. I really only have two choices -- ban him, or tacitly approve of his behavior. This is where the moderator makes a choice as to what kind of forum he wants to have. This is where the moderator's beliefs help shape who is going to be on the forum, and who is not (either by banning, or driving off).

Fortunately, I am not Vox, nor am I liberal. So this will never be Fisheaters.

I remember a topic about this fellow being a member of Fisheaters Forum, but I don't recall seeing him on CathInfo.  Apparently, I never paid any attention to his posts.

He posted as "Judas Machabeus."

I think the choice of "Judas" was very deliberate... and I seriously doubt it was an honest homage to the Machabees, whom I do not think would have suffered an unrepentant transsɛҳuąƖ sodomite any more than they did the defilers of the Temple.

His original nom de guerre "Impy" - which clearly connotes devilish mischief - only confirms me in my suspicions.
