  • Too bad it is only showing in the Chicago area.  It is a subject that greatly interests me.
But hopefully it will come out on DVD soon.

  • Doesn't bode well that with such a limited showing they're having to give tickets away to fill the place up.

  • I went to buy tickets just now and it looks like a very small theater within that complex. Something new to me is that they have reserved seats. Never seen anything like that for a movie. Either way, it looks like there are only about 60 to 70 seats in the six row screening room.

I know at least 3 other people that plan on attending. I sure hope it gets close to being sold out so it gets a much wider release.

We shall see if it will "play in Peoria".

How well did you expect it to bode?

In what reality was a "docuмentary" like this ever going to go on general release?

I suspect it will by-pass DVD and go straight to YouTube.

I suspect the reserved seating is a customer services measure.  They don't want old men, in dirty raincoats, mistaking this tiny screening room for the one next door, showing a re-run of the 1972 classic Emmanuelle and the Slavegirls of Bangkok.

    So...?  What did you think?

I don't think docuмentaries ever do well in theaters, unless maybe it's a big science show at the IMAX, but it may do well with DVD sales as far as that genre goes.

Actually it was a very nice theater. Every seat was a recliner and it was set up in a way that I don't think anyone's head could get in the way of even a very short person.

All the other screening rooms appeared to be the same size. It seems the movie business is changing quite a bit and is starting to imitate the narrowcasting of cable tv, radio, and magazines. Of course I have been to large cinema complexes that have smaller theaters, but this design took things to an entirely new level in customer comfort.

Who here cares about the theater, what about the movie?

  • Had a very pleasant surprise before the film. I ran into Fathers Hewko and Pfeiffer, and their seminarians :) Met Rick DeLano, and Katheryne Thomas, the Director, also.

It was very good. I can't wait until it comes up here so more people can go see it. There are some really good clips on their Facebook page that you can look at. The Stonehenge video, and the temperature disturbance ones are awesome.

It was very convincing with the evidence that was provided that earth, is indeed, the center of the universe.

  • I hope it comes to AZ.  I would like to see it on a bigger screen than the computer monitor!
