  • I am flying at 34,000 feet back to London from San Francisco and looking down at Post Falls, right now. Flight has wireless access and not many people are using it, obviously, because it is FAST.  17 buck for the whole flight.

    Technology is amazing.

  • Too bad you couldn't have stopped for a quick visit.  (I've visited several times, but the last was several years ago.)

I would have found it interesting to meet some of the folks on CI "face to face".

  • Well if there are any Trad masses in northern Saskatchewan I could drop in.  Would leave a big hole in the roof though.

  • Just crossed the 49th parallel.  Lakes around here have a ring of what looks like white salt around them.

  • I am looking down on a road that seems to be straight as far as the eye can see.  And it is a clear day, so that must be 100 or more miles at this altitude.  Canada....lynchpin of the English speaking world.

    Warning ggreg... you're disoriented!

Those rings are shotgun barrel ends !

It's duck season in American man.

Pull out now... you're flying too low!

  • So, Greg, how was Vegas?  Did you visit Boulder Dam? Boulder City is a quaint old West feeling town that would have been interesting to drive thro.
