Quote from: Lighthouse
"Your enemy is real".

Is that a threat?

Do you know who your enemies are?

Ephesians 6:12
For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood; but against principalities and power, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places.

Any time a brother or sister speaks of your enemy, you should be well aware of who your enemy is. Satan and his angels.

Are you a traditional Catholic or a modernist? Modernists think we struggle against the flesh and have human enemies. They use psychology and struggle against the flesh when their enemy is Satan.

Can we all agree that God's will is love and mercy itself? Can we agree that we seek to do His will?

Maybe you've spent too much time saying Sister Faustina's divine mercy nonsense.

Develop some humility and do what your spiritual director tells you to do. You are not more special than anyone else.

St. Faustina has been canonized. She is in Heaven. The divine mercy chaplet is a prayer written by the very Spirit of God. Why do you call it divine mercy "nonsense?" Satan will use your uncharitable words against you. Be on guard. You are the one who is displaying pride. Pride is the enemy of charity.

I never said I was more special than anyone else. I have not displayed pride. I do do what my spiritual director tells me. What leads you to believe I do not?

Is this truly a traditional Catholic website? It is modernism that teaches that we do not have to be concerned with charity, truth, and God's will.

How does a traditional Catholic manage to DISAGREE with this statement:
"Can we all agree that God's will is love and mercy itself? Can we agree that we seek to do His will?"
Are you a traditional Catholic for the sake of saying it or are you a traditional Catholic for the purpose of doing GOD'S WILL!?

It is modernism that teaches we do not have to believe everything the Church teaches, including the infallibility of canonization.

Why haven't you corrected BTNYC for insulting me, but proceeded to accuse me of pride once again with no foundation for your accusation?

If you can provide one statement I made out of pride, do so and edify me. Otherwise, do not tell me to "develop some humility." You are not greater than St. Faustina, and you are surely not greater than the divine mercy chaplet.

I highly recommend that you start praying the divine mercy chaplet every day.

I try to pray the divine mercy chaplet, the rosary, and St. Michael's chaplet every day, so yes I do spend a bit of time praying the divine mercy chaplet. Don't take your situation for granted. You can pray the divine mercy chaplet in peace. A demon tries to stop me the whole time I am praying it.

Be thankful for peace and pray. Submit to the will of God, which is love and mercy itself. Knowledge of God's will is much older than the divine mercy chaplet. God's will IS love and mercy. Perhaps you should stop posting and read His Word. Be thankful for the ability to do so in peace.

If you knew anything about Traditional Catholicism, you'd know the answer to that already.
