  • you get booted off just b/c you haven't logged in in, say, an hour

and it doesn't matter if you were in the middle of typing an earth-shatteringly important thread!

you lose it all then have to re-type it.

I hope someone can fix this?

  • Could it be that the "booting" was the "fixing"?

  • Therr should be a button to select how long you are logged on, and once you find it you can click the option for 30 minutes, 1 hour, forever, etc. It was on the log-in page the last time I used it, so check that out.

I knew that but had forgotten. I should have learned Latin when I was a kid (kids retain what they learn usually better than adults)

    .
    Right.
When you first do "LOGIN" you can select how many minutes you want to remain logged in. If you don't change it the default setting is 60, otherwise known as one hour.
    .
    But you can put a 4 in front of it and stay logged in for 7 hours & 40 minutes. (460 / 60 = 7 R. 40)

It's not too late to learn. You don't seem very old to me. In fact the more you learn the better your capacity to retain and use what you learn. There are courses on line. May somebody can recommend one.

Actually, this made more sense to me than many of DZ PLEASE's posts. I'll hazard a guess and say that I think DZ means that sometimes it's better not to post but to put more thought and reflection into what you say. I could be wrong...
