What are the rules for receiving the Eucharist at SSPV Masses? Are SSPX faithful welcome to communion?
I go to the SSPV too. Their rules for Communion are:
1) Fasting from solid food and alcohol for 3 hours
2) Fasting from liquids besides water for 1 hour
3) Be in the state of grace, having made a Confession to a Traditional Priest if necessary
4) Not have a marriage annulment from the Novus Ordo
5) Not be baptized in the Novus Ordo after 1970 unless you have proof (i.e., video footage) that the matter and form of your Novus Ordo baptism was done correctly.
6) Cannot go to the Masses of any Priests or Bishops of the Thuc line, or any Priests who are friendly (they would say "in communion") with them, even if those Priests are not themselves of the Thuc line.
7) Cannot hold the teachings of Fr. Leonard Feeney.
8-Hold to all of the Traditional moral teachings of the Catholic Church, especially regarding marriage and purity.
9) Not attend the FSSP or other actual Novus Ordo traditional-leaning groups that are part of the Novus Ordo structure.
I think that's it. I don't think I'm forgetting any of the rules.
Regarding the SSPX, SSPV Priests do allow you to go to them. They don't think it's the best idea, but they won't deny you communion for going to SSPX Masses, and they won't deny SSPX people communion either. They would say to stay away from any of the Novus Ordo-convert Priests in the SSPX who have not been conditionally ordained though.
