  •   I got an email from google security service saying that it is suspected that my account is hacked. It has something to do with an institute in Netherland.
I won't post again till this problem is solved. I don't know what hackers will possibly do with my account.
So if you get any strange email from me, know that it is not I.

  • Is this an authentic message from Google saying your account has been breached?

If so, don't fret. Just change the password, and any other accounts you may have that use the same password (... I hope you don't use the same one anywhere else, right???? )

Hackers are overrated, don't worry spouse. Just keep going on your merry way and just change your password. You should be safe.

Note: Try to keep it over 15 characters, if you use Windows. And then for online use, just keeping it above 10, and follow the uppercase, lowercase, number, and symbol method, you should be okay. Its very hard to brute force passwords over 8 characters in length due to time and memory of computers today. I work in the security industry so I see what hackers do all the time.

  • I'd be careful about clicking any links in that e-mail -- it might be a spam e-mail designed to get people to give sensitive information.

Why would a group in the Netherlands strongly desire to have access to the e-mail account of a young lady in Iran?

    Doesn't make ANY sense.

    I'm guessing it's spam.

I'd say change your password, and forget about it.

  •   OK I changed my password, though google didn't accept it at first and gave errors.
About Netherland (Holand?) having something to do with it: well, a company in that Country apparently helped a group of hackers to hack internet accounts of 300 iranians.
I am not sure if it is an accurate number or not. But we we heard it in the News.
Maybe a spammer wants to get disadvantage of this. or maybe it is real?
