    • Nope. Not for now. I have been through the whole "I am Torquemada, slayer of heretics" bologna before. Truth is they are more like Topcliffe. Besides if you have to be a mean hateful person, you show your fruits, and they are rotten. Watch with the screed they let loose when they read this post.

    • Fr Torqumada was a great man of the Church. Also a very fair and compassionate priest despite the crap peddled by Prots and Judaics about him.  Now Topcliffe is another matter.

    I don't know who this belligerent Prodino is but calling Dawn a liar is something we all know to be a lie in and of itself.

    Ben 16 has shown himself to be a heretic 6000 ways to Sunday and her assessment of him is right on the money.

    I've already taken back the part about telling lies.  You can review my posts on that thread.  I admitted that "lying" was not the correct characterization. I still maintain that Dawn was bearing false witness when she claimed that Benedict XVI denies the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist.  That was and is an outrageous calumny and, frankly, a complete falsehood.  If Dawn cannot even consider that possibility and search her own conscience in the matter, that's not my problem.

    If you want to ban me, Matthew, go right ahead.

    Prodino and Caminus trash me all the time.  So what?  They have the right to do that.  I'll be the first to forgive them if they change their minds.  Heck, I forgive them now.  

    It doesn't bother me.  I'm confident about the truth of my position and when and if I'm not, I'll say so.

    Don't let emotion get the better of you.  It makes it look as if our side is not the right side, and we have to resort to hysterics for attention.  Both you and DeMaistre are having outbursts!

    Hang in there and keep slugging.  I'll pinch-hit while you take care of the brood.

    P.S. Matthew, I am begging you, please DO NOT ban Prodino.  That would make Ratzinger defenders look like martyrs, and make it look as if the sedes were communists.  

    That's not a bad plan at all, mind you -- it may be all the una cuм team has left!  They don't have logic.

    • We can have some arguments and fights on here -- even intense ones -- without "casualties"...I'm determined for that to be the case.

    We're all human, and I bet we all have "slip ups" regarding charity from time to time. Especially in the heat of an important argument, such as the Church, the Papacy, etc. Those are important issues! It's not like we're arguing over McDonalds vs. Burger King or something.

    Who do I ban from CathInfo? Those who are locked into a habitual role of "Grand Inquisitor" who have no use for friendship, camaraderie, or charity -- who are only here to denounce and rip people apart.

    We have no use for such people here. They destroy any existing culture/mood that a message board has.

    Prodino, for example, has posted plenty of other good posts here. He fits in just fine. His first post wasn't "I'm not here to be friends, I'm here to correct, denounce, and condemn".

    I ought to give people the benefit of the doubt, and I do. Every one of the people I banned received several warnings first, and SORELY deserved it.
