If you are honest with God and yourself, then read the entirety of Paul's Epistle to the Romans. Start from the beginning, and read VERY slowly. . .make sure you take it ALL in.

Saying "the Bible commands us to kill millions" shows your ignorance of Scripture and its proper interpretation.

Actually this makes a good case against Protestantism and why you really need the Catholic Church as God's appointed authority. The point about Sunday is valid. (except for OT death sentence) My protestant friend always checks the Sunday adds and shops for Sunday doorbuster specials. He is a hardcore bible thumper expert & I think that blows his mind that I refuse to shop on Sundays, expecially since I am a Catholic.

Do you think it is coincidental that Sunday is the time for bargains?

Only a sola scriptura "scripture alone" Protestant would hold that the Bible is meant to be a "life manual" where we can just use the whole thing as an example of how to act.

The historical accounts given in the Bible are there for our instruction, but sometimes it's a negative instruction. Other things are there for mysterious reasons.

You're the type of person who claims it's sinful to have two coats, because "Our Lord forbade such in the Bible".

The Catholic Church is the interpreter of the Bible. She alone has been entrusted with the truth. No protestant, including you, is competent to interpret the Bible.

The Catholic Church is the extension of Christ on earth. It is His Mystical Body. The Church, a mystical extension of the Eternal Word of God (Logos) is alone competent to dictate what is meant by the Bible, written by men under inspiration of the Spirit of God, the Holy Ghost.

If it is all the word of God then Catholics do not obey His commands. For if they did they would be in jail real fast...or dead. So, ask yourself...how can these points, in video, be the word of God and even more so how could any person with moral standards act them out??? Something is NOT right!

Anyone can look up the youtube video...posted here or not. Then you will see the evil in the Bible..or at least put there by man for an agenda.

How can you debunk the points of the video if affraid to watch it? The video makes valid points and needs to be debated???

Read the conversation between God and Job.

Remember when the Pharisees brought the woman caught in adultery to Our Lord? What did He reply to them? Remember?

The point of the Old Law was not necessarily to act as a way to righteousness. If you READ Romans as I suggested, you will have learned that "if righteousness could come through the Law, then Christ died in vain."

The Law acts as a mirror. It gives us a glimpse of perfection, while at the same time giving us a glimpse of how sinful we are by comparing ourselves to it.

Are we to stone people? No.
Is the act of adultery/ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖity,etc. still sin? Yes, of course!

Faith is a gift from God. Uriel, you are going through a very common problem in trying to make sense out of the Christian faith. When I was a teenager and read the Old Testament, I felt the same way and I cried.

The Gospel talks about the milk and the meat in scripture. Take a break. Pray , fast, do good works & then you can come back to learn the New Testament first. Find a good Catholic mentor to help you with the Old Testament. (Try to find someone who has a functional heart, not just a cold sterile intellectual faith)

I have struggled with my faith for the last year, until I realized a few weeks ago that the guy whose book I bought and videos I watched was a false prophet. It was confusing my mind and it was a very clever trick of the devil. I put the book out of my house and my faith has come back stronger than ever. Be careful what you watch, I would stick to traditional catholic media from now on.
