Alberta is not as big as Texas, but it is huge by most states standards, so I can commiserate with "it takes hours to get anywhere" scenario. A good 7+ hours to Montana from where I be. About 5 hours west to British Columbia. Mind you, once you are in the Rockies, the drive is worth it. About 6 to 8 hours including stops to our favourite hot springs. Nearest Resistance Mass is 40 min to airport, 1 hour flight west, then about 1r minutes from the motel where I stay visiting with Father Girouard. Houston is a 4 hour flight, slightly less to Dallas Fr Worth. If I ever win the lottery, I will pay for all CI folk who wish to, to get together for a TradCat jamboree, probably in the South, or the mountains.
