There was an absolutely horrible article here

I discovered traditional Catholicism via Hutton Gibson, and often referred to his writings wen I felt the urge to comprimise (ei attend an EF mass or something). I'm not sure if these reports are true but the man is 93 years old.

I did a websearch and couldn't find this news anywhere but this biased article. I'd be skeptical until we learn more.

Huton must have been doing some things right, or he would not have been the target of hate and vitriol from that creepy HollyJєω gossip columnist.

And if Hutton is near death:

Hutton is a great person, and a very kind man despite what the media portrays him as.

I corresponded with him for a year when he still lived in Australia. He has been through a lot in this life. He was extremely compassionate to me when I had to write to him in the mid 1990s to let him know I suffered several stillbirths.

That's sad to hear, I too have been both drawn to tradition and edified since by Hutton's newsletter (since it was called "The War is Now", now "Defending the Faith of our Fathers")

I have to say, I think the apple fell a little far from the tree judging by Mel's film career

Anyway, I will not honor that libelous article with even a click!

I will say that it is believable that he is ill. He sends out his newsletter once a month and usually has it out by the 11th, so he's unusually late.

The only good thing about the article is most of the comments were favorable to Mr. Gibson and unfavorable towards the author.
