  • There are about 115 sspx chapels or Mass offerings in just the US, so it depends on the average amount of parishioners. If there is an average of 50 parishioners per Mass center then there are 5750 sppxers in US.  If 100 on average then that number is doubled.
For sedevacantists it is much harder to determine, especially because of the amount of home aloners.  I think the CMRI has about 60 chapels or mass offerings, many of those chapels have a very small amount of parishioners though.  The sspv has I think about 25 Mass centers.  Then there are independent Bishops, Dolan/Sanborn with SGG and affiliated churches, then other independent churches and bishops.  I think in the US there are about 6,000 sedevacantists.

I would think there are more than 50 parishioners per chapel. At my chapel, there is a school, and it seems during the week that the vast majority of people who attend mass are students. Then there might be about 10-15 non-students present. Sometimes less. Then of course, on Sundays, there are a lot more non-students attending mass. I would say a good solid 100 parishioners (men, women, and children). I don't see a lot of the same faces I might add. I think many parishioners are not able to make it every sunday. They might only make it 1-2 times a month. With that said, the amount of people who attend my chapel over the course of a year could easily be in the 200-400 range. With a much smaller percentage who attend on a regular basis. if 400 people attended each chapel at least one time a year, then that could put the number of sspx parishioners at 45,000 or so. That being a high estimate. But wow, I really thought that the number could be as high as 2 million or so. Maybe if you counted all of the spin offs like sspx, sspv, sedevacantists etc.? We are an extreme minority!

What did I get myself into? An anti-Jєω "extremist" group who only makes up a few thousand people? Anyone who joins the SSPX probably is not too afraid of being martyred thats for sure.

  • The 50 parishioners per chapel was a very conservative estimate.  I have been to a chapel with 30 people at the only Mass of the Day and one with over a 100 at Mass, then there are some with huge amounts of parishioners like the one you go to and others that are very small.  I think maybe 200 would be a better average of parishioners, so at 115 chapels in the US that would be 23,000 people just in the sspx.  Then in Europe and elsewhere especially France it would make the amount of sspxers into the hundreds of thousands.  And then add in everyone else and it isn't that tiny.

I guess you could say it is an anti-Jєω extremist group, it is called Roman Catholicism.  It is extreme, it is extremely different from the hedonism and paganism of the modern world, and it is anti-Jєω, and anti-any other religion as we believe that our religion is the one true Faith and all other religions or offshoots are heretical so naturally we are anti-judiasm (and all other faiths).
