Also, what do SSPX people think of the Divine Mercy image?

Stick with Church approved apparitions; they hold all we need to know. Fatima, Lourdes, Akita.

Its a mixed bag when it comes to Divine Mercy; I think most Trads do not follow it, and while it may not have anything inherently wrong with it, see it as a diversion from devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

A fellow trad was concerned that in some Catholic circles the divine mercy prayer (prayed on rosary beads) was replacing the recitation of the Holy Rosary.  If true it would be a very serious concern.  As well, an SSPV priest noted that rays on the divine mercy picture of Jesus are replacing the image of the Sacred Heart, of course veneration and devotion to the Sacred Heart is an ancient Catholic devotion.  There's also a New age aspect to the practice (imo) in that it is strictly a message of mercy with no meditation or contemplation of Our Lord's Justice.  As a wise traditional priest once told his flock....  "God is perfectly merciful, however He is also perfectly just".

The Sacred Heart Devotion clearly demonstrated The Mercy of Jesus without the "everybody's going to Heaven" Club.

ST. MARGARET MARY

St. Margaret Mary was born in 1647 in France. She was a cripple, but the Blessed Virgin Mary cured her. To thank God for the cure she promised to give her life to His service. When she was seventeen, Jesus appeared to her just as He was after He was scourged. At once she entered the Order of the Visitation.

Sister Margaret Mary loved our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament very much. He showed her His Sacred Heart in four visions. The flames that come forth from His Heart remind us of His burning love for us and His desire that we love Him in return. The crown of thorns around His Heart reminds us of sacrifice to make up for sin.

Jesus made twelve promises to her telling her how He would help those who honor His Sacred Heart.

Jesus said to her: "Look at this Heart which has loved people so much, and yet they do not want to love Me in return. Through you My Divine Heart wishes to spread its love everywhere on earth."

St. Margaret Mary died in 1690. Her Feast Day is October 16.

Our Lord is in Heaven with His blessed mother and foster father.  He says to them, "Ok, so you can go on a "vacation" anywhere at any time on earth.  Where would you like to go?"

St Joseph says, "I'd like to go back to Jerusalem and revisit everything surrounding Your life."

Our Blessed Mother says "I'd like to visit Medjugorie.  I've never been there."

You should listen to this talk with Charles Coulombe and Professor Biersach (the one titled "apparitions."

Actually, you should listen to all of the talks.  They're highly enteretaining and very informational, not to mention free to download.

They should probably start out by not worrying about these things. If they happen, they will surely be guided by Our Lady.

I read on the Tradition in Action Website that the best way to tell that an
Apparition of the Blessed Mother is real is that she will have feet.
Feet that crushes the head of the serpent.

It was said that throw holy water at the vision, the sign of the cross.  If it is satan, he  will flee.  Satan can make himself look like Our Lady or anything or anyone.
