Juvenile justice officials testified that Bustamante had attempted to commit ѕυιcιdє in 2007 and had been receiving mental health treatment for depression and cutting herself.

The girl should be in jail. I have found in my clinical experience that over 75 percent of female cutters have been extremely sɛҳuąƖly abused. The ѕυιcιdє attempt makes the percentage higher. She probably came from a background of sɛҳuąƖ and physical abuse. The above teenager wasn't created from a "loving and supportive" family.

In the article in mentions a mother of the girl, but no father? It doesn't take a scientist to figure out that this child came from a single mother home that was probably dysfunctional. I could very easily see single mom bringing her pervert boyfriends home and while the mother was addled on drugs, the boyfriends abused the daughter.

The above is a scenario that I see all too often in this country.

You are actually willing to execute this girl for something she did when she was fifteen? I am in favor of the death penalty for adults, but I really can't imagine a defense for imposing it on children.

Childhood ends at puberty. A 15 year old isn't a child. The notion that childhood ends at 18 is a modern one.

In today's world there is the monstrosity of Multiple Personality Disorder and Mind Kontolle(MK Ultra) . It is therefore debatable whether( and to what extent ) the girl is responsible for her actions. It is prob best not to execute her under these circuмstances.
