driving on the hihways of north america throughout my life i have always been enchanted by the little round patches of earth in highway interchanges

here are some samples:

when ever i see one i think of what it would be like to live on it. a subterranean dwelling, kind of like the bomb shelter or a hobbit home. or maybe even above ground dwelling. a little shack type deal.

i think highways are romatnic. they make me happy. for many people highways are about getting from point a to point b. but for me a highway is something to be savored!

sometimes i imagine baking a gigantic cherry pie and putting it on one of those little round patches of land
