I was thinking he reminds me of a horse we once had.  We tethered her in the yard to graze but she got the rope wrapped around her front fetlock and tipped herself over.  There she was lying on the ground, struggling to get up and digging that rope in tighter.

So I laid down next to her and released the rope over her hoof then rolled as fast as I could away from her.  I knew she would lunge to get up and probably trample me in the process if I didn't get out of there.  So I got out of there.

I think Belloc has gotten tangled in the good things and is lunging to escape.  What do you think.

I have often wondered if there is any heresy involved with those who are neo-cons and super-duper American patriots.  I think there might be an implicit acceptance of separation of Church and state there.  Also some of them think Jєωs are still the chosen people.  Yes, I heard someone say this in a SEDEVACANTIST Church, that God does not renege on His promises, hinting that Israel has God's favor.  Unbelievable.  

The CMRI, far from being a cult, let you think what you want.  That is the problem.  A lot of people think wrong and need to be corrected.  But CMRI kind of plays it both ways -- they are patriotic, but at the same time they link to Droleskey's site, who calls America "Sad Land of Fɾҽҽmαsσɳɾყ," and talks about the reign of Christ the King.  I know that Bp. Pivarunas doesn't agree with Droleskey so it is interesting that he exposes the CMRI faithful to him.

Belloc, don't run away from everyone who disagrees with you.  I know a woman at CMRI who was very patriotic like Myrna.  I became a home aloner for a while, and by the time I got back, she had woken up to what America really is.  I was not expecting that -- I had written her off and mistrusted her.  She even said to me "I am starting to hate this country."  So never give up hope.

This woman knew Abp. Lefebvre personally in the 1980's, by the way.  She told me a story about Abp. Lefebvre getting up in front of a crowd of American SSPX-ers and saying "Ze monarchy is ze best form of government..."  She said the crowd murmured and groaned, ha ha.

thanks for thoughts, despite arguements, I like Myrna, she is sweet.

that said, we all learn at different rates and we are affected by our history-that is why B16 I think is more prone to supporting the UN, to avoid the hell he saw and lived through...those liek Myran and my dad grew up in a time where we won a war and there was hyper patriotism....

there was an article on Lew Rockwell that discussed this, wish I could locate it now-how Catholics were brow beaten and conjoled into this thinking, also by CIA frontman Buckley a little later....if we truly did not view the Pope as our ruler and were "real americans" then we needed to have flags on the altar and hyper-patriotism....or the WASPS "knew" we were not real americans.

being Catholic and German-American (2nd or 3d generation), brought the Klan on my great grandfathers lawn, as he was a "papist foreigner". He was told during WWI not to serve by teh older folks as he might have to fight gfellow Germans, some of them possibly relatives. He told them he was an American, so who cares? well, guess the Klan reminded him he was a outsider....so for people at this time, it was be an outsider and ridiculed or go along-no,actually out patriot the patriots.....

so, when I see people hyper-patriotic to a nation that wa never Catholic and treated us like that-and worse-it is like the Macchabees seeing that Jєω about to sacrifice to pagan gods..the one Judas slew in ch 1 or Ch 2 of 1 Macchabees......

Now I think I see what Belloc was trying to accomplish.  The complete rejection of America and all things American.  A scorched earth policy out of which he will build a superior Catholic country.  How very French Revolution.

What is this new phenomenon?

This may sound silly, in fact it is but sometime I think Belloc and Raoul are the same person.  Belloc posting during business hours and Raoul posting after business hours, they both think the same way, and gush (word I recently discovered from Belloc) after each other.
