  • I would be all for putting to death the militant homos and putting the rest back in the closets where they belong...Of course this web site where the story is from looks to be some atheistic site...but I side with the pastor on this and maybe even put to death the owners of this patheos site...

Megachurch Pastor says ‘gαys must be put to death’

September 3, 2014 by Michael Stone 558 Comments

Claiming that being gαy is a choice like drug abuse, the senior pastor for a megachurch in Tennessee says that “gαys must be put to death” because God commands it.

Last Sunday, Brainerd Baptist Church Senior Pastor Robby Gallaty told his large congregation that Christians should never stop discriminating against ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖs, claiming that gαys could choose to be straight if they only accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Gallaty explained why gαys should be put to death:

God said that the sins of the people had infected the very land in which they live. So what happens to people who engage in this activity, this sɛҳuąƖ immoral activity? Go to Leviticus 20, God gives us the punishment for engaging in these sins… ‘If a man sleeps with a man as with a woman, they have both committed a detestable thing. They must be put to death. And their blood is on their own hands.’

Pastor Gallaty tried to justify his Biblically inspired hatred for gαys and lesbians by repeatedly trying to argue that being gαy is a choice, and some sort of rebellion against his imaginary God’s divine plan.

While openly acknowledging that Christianity was the source and justification for racism in America prior to the civil rights movement, Pastor Gallaty admonished his congregation that the analogy between Christians openly discriminating against gαys is different from Christians openly discriminating against African Americans because gαys choose their sɛҳuąƖ orientation but African Americans do not choose the color of their skin:

Here’s the problem with the argument that you closed-minded Christians, one day you’re going to come full circle, and you’re going to realize that you’re being judgemental just like racism was 50 years ago. And we finally realized that racism was an issue for Christians.

And now you guys have repented and come full circle, and you’re going to realize that you’re as foolish as we were with the movement of racism,.
It’s not the same… A black man can’t change his race, a white man can’t change his race, a ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ can stop engaging in ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ acts. See, sɛҳuąƖity is a choice. Gender and race are not.

Pastor Gallaty’s attempt to defend the Biblical prohibition against ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖity hangs upon his contention that gαys choose to be gαy. However, this is clearly not the case. sɛҳuąƖ orientation is not a choice. One does not choose to be gαy or straight.

Gallaty and Christians like him are dangerous individuals. Their perverse religious superstition allows them to advocate for death and discrimination against those they do not like and do not understand.

  • For those of you as uninclined to join the Neocath Chorus of Ecuмenical Praise for Our Seperated Brethren Protestant Heretics as I am, I invite you to offer a prayer of thanksgiving for the life of Catholic Saints and Pontiffs like St. Pius V, who "got it right" nearly half a millennium ago:

Quote from: Pope St. Pius V

That horrible crime, on account of which corrupt and obscene cities were destroyed by fire through divine condemnation, causes us most bitter sorrow and shocks our mind, impelling us to repress such a crime with the greatest possible zeal.

Quite opportunely the Fifth Lateran Council [1512-1517] issued this decree: "Let any member of the clergy caught in that vice against nature, given that the wrath of God falls over the sons of perfidy, be removed from the clerical order or forced to do penance in a monastery" (chap. 4, X, V, 31).

So that the contagion of such a grave offense may not advance with greater audacity by taking advantage of impunity, which is the greatest incitement to sin, and so as to more severely punish the clerics who are guilty of this nefarious crime and who are not frightened by the death of their souls, we determine that they should be handed over to the severity of the secular authority, which enforces civil law.

Therefore, wishing to pursue with greater rigor than we have exerted since the beginning of our pontificate, we establish that any priest or member of the clergy, either secular or regular, who commits such an execrable crime, by force of the present law be deprived of every clerical privilege, of every post, dignity and ecclesiastical benefit, and having been degraded by an ecclesiastical judge, let him be immediately delivered to the secular authority to be put to death, as mandated by law as the fitting punishment for laymen who have sunk into this abyss.

Constitutionn Horrendum illud scelus, August 30, 1568

Quote from: Pope St. Pius V

“Having set our minds to remove everything that may in some way offend the Divine Majesty, We resolve to punish, above all and without indulgence, those things which, by the authority of the Sacred Scriptures or by most grievous examples, are most repugnant to God and elicit His wrath; that is, negligence in divine worship, ruinous simony, the crime of blasphemy, and the execrable libidinous vice against nature. For which faults peoples and nations are scourged by God, according to His just condemnation, with catastrophes, wars, famine and plagues. . . . Let the judges know that, if even after this, Our Constitution, they are negligent in punishing these crimes, they will be guilty of them at Divine Judgment and will also incur Our indignation. . . . If someone commits that nefarious crime against nature that caused divine wrath to be unleashed against the children of iniquity, he will be given over to the secular arm for punishment; and if he is a cleric, he will be subject to analogous punishment after having been stripped of all his degrees [of ecclesiastical dignity].”

  • Lauding heretics for "getting it right" about anything in this time of crisis with Rome in the hands of hijackers and not getting much of anything right, presents a temptation from satan for Catholics to turn to heresy.  Even on this forum, people are struggling with this crisis in various ways and coping/not coping with it in varying degrees.  Remember Crossbro, for example.  This would have been one more point to make him rationalize that heresy is the path to take.  How many are silent lurkers or don't speak out about being tempted by heresy who this may embold to jump ship...

Now if that heretical "pastor" who "got this right" could only renounce his heresy and find the true Faith, then he would get something right that may save his soul.  Otherwise, all else he "gets right" profits him naught in the end.

  • Is this referring to unrepentant ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖs who show no sign of changing their ways?

  • Statistics prove that the number of ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖs is few and the few are in our government, religion, entertainment industry, and media. We out number them and yet they discriminate against us.
May God bless you and keep you

    Who's fault is that?

The numbers of voters with a moral conscience  in a "democratic" society vastly outnumber the sɛҳuąƖly devaint bloc and their quest for special legislation to grant them special rights and create a legal  specially protected class of sodomites. and yet the deviants still get what they want.

The ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖs are not the problem. They are only a symptom of a greater disease. The queers are empowered by a small powerful group looking to destroy the very fabric and aggregrate that hold the culture together.

And WE let them do it.

    Cowards.

  • Actually, I probably wouldn't support the idea that 'all' common men who are ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖs should be put to death. Clergy who commit the sin of sodomy, however? Yes. No exceptions.
