Even got told we might as well be terrorists, apprently we wouldn't need any persuasion to join them hhhm

I guess Al sharpton and blacks really gave their approval for 9/11? don't make me laugh, i lost a family friend on that day.

Keep judging us blacks, You yourself will be judged by the highest authority. (GOD)

It is important everyone is aware and reminded of their actions so that they can stop sinning. You can't love God/ Jesus and preach racism

    1 Corinthians 13 : 1 - 13

1 If I speak in the tongues of mortals and of angels, but do not have love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.
2 And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.
3 If I give away all my possessions, and if I hand over my body so that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
4 Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude.
    5 It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful;
6 it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth.
7 It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8 Love never ends. But as for prophecies, they will come to an end; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will come to an end.
    9 For we know only in part, and we prophesy only in part;
10 but when the complete comes, the partial will come to an end.
11 When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; when I became an adult, I put an end to childish ways.
12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then we will see face to face. Now I know only in part; then I will know fully, even as I have been fully known.
13 And now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; and the greatest of these is love.

    Good night x

  • This has nothing to do with charity or love thy neighbor. I dont "hate" Black people, however, you must insist that I do because you cant accept those facts.

I was hoping for a verse that expressly condemns racism or at least defines it, and you didnt provide that. Try again.

lol why would i need a verse. I don't know about Catholicsm but Christianity is based on love. The main notion being "TREAT OTHERS THE WAY YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE TREATED"

There you go, so to be racist goes against Gods will. Good night x

Incorrect, that is what the religion of Moralistic Therapeutic Deism is based upon.

  • I like how she puts two completely different things in the same sentence phrase, and hurls a confused accusation at us.

Yes, we acknowledge differences between the races. If you don't like the hierarchy of creation, don't be mad at us. We didn't create the world and everything in it.

No, we don't hate anyone. Hate is a completely different issue from race.

Racism, like "anti-semitism", needs to be defined. They are terms unique to our messed-up modern world.

St. Francis de Sales never used the word racism, nor did any other saint I read (and I've read many spiritual works). They might have addressed charity toward one's neighbor, etc. and that more than covered the issue.

But the loaded word "racism", which includes everything from hatred of other races, to acknowledgment of differences between the races, and everything in between -- never existed before.

Terms like racism BEG to be defined, at least if you plan to use them. Since it means several things, you have to state exactly what you mean when you ACCUSE someone of it!

  • Ephesians 6:5-10

5 Servants, be obedient to them that are your lords according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in the simplicity of your heart, as to Christ:

6 Not serving to the eye, as it were pleasing men, but, as the servants of Christ doing the will of God from the heart, 7 With a good will serving, as to the Lord, and not to men. 8 Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man shall do, the same shall he receive from the Lord, whether he be bond, or free. 9 And you, masters, do the same things to them, forbearing threatenings, knowing that the Lord both of them and you is in heaven; and there is no respect of persons with him. 10 Finally, brethren, be strengthened in the Lord, and in the might of his power.

    --------

Apparently St. Paul was a racist.  Rather than tell the servant to break his bonds and fight for his freedom, St. Paul tells the servant to accept his station in life.

There will always be hierarchy.  Those who wish to undermine hierarchy necessarily oppose the natural order of things.

There's nothing racist about acknowledging orders of things.

  • Of course racism (hating people for the color of their skin) is wrong.

But I think the point that anyone and everyone here would probably agree on is that no one, anywhere, should be singled out in any way, or given any special treatment (or discrimination) because of the color of their skin. That includes EVERY color.

Bottom line is, EVERY INDIVIDUAL HAS A FREE WILL. Yes, planned parenthood can try and talk all of the black and other minority's women into abortions... but it is still the INDIVIDUAL that gets them. People can talk about all of the crime of minority groups, or how the prison populations are mostly minority... but it is still the INDIVIDUAL that CHOSE to commit the crime.

Free will means, no matter where I was born, in what circumstances, or what color, I have a choice as to how I want to live my life. Even if the world discriminates against me, I CHOOSE how I will react, or what I will do because of it.

It is obvious to anyone with eyes and a working brain, that all of the races on the earth are different. Each have their own gifts and talents that are especially prominent in their race. Each has their own "pet vices" as well, probably due in some part to their individual cultures and attitudes. But the free will remains, and that each individual of each race has a soul to save, and an obligation to live the best life they can given their individual circumstances.

Racism can exist on ALL sides, not just on the white side. But living Catholicism means recognizing that all of us are firstly and foremostly HUMAN... that we ALL have a free will, and must abide by the same laws of God, and that no race of men is entitled to special consideration, or special condemnation.

Yes, in every public forum there are people who say stupid and ignorant things. In every group everywhere this is the case. But please do not think that EVERY person in such a group is bad because of it. This is as bad as racism (believing all people in a race are bad because one member is), and also unjust.
I renounce any and all of my former views against what the Church through Pope Leo XIII said, "This, then, is the teaching of the Catholic Church ...no one of the several forms of government is in itself condemned, inasmuch as none of them contains anythi

St. Paul is telling people to be content and meek and dutiful in whatever station they are placed in by God, whether master or servant.  Nowhere does he say that blacks  being lesser than whites, or servants of whites, is in "the natural order of things."  You are applying your own philosophy to his words.

    Galatians 9:
    Quote
"And you, masters, do the same things to them, forbearing threatenings, knowing that the Lord both of them and you is in heaven; and there is no respect of persons with him.

God doesn't care if you are black and white, rich or poor, master or servant.  What he wants is for you to respect where He has placed you and to act in Christian charity towards each other.  A servant who robs his master is as culpable as a master who starves his servant.  Both of them will be accountable to God.

But it is not necessarily in the order of things that whites are higher up in the "hierarchy."  There is nothing about race here.  It is about how the will of God to us men may seem arbitrary, but that we must be content where we are placed and not be soured by ambition or greed or envy.

Here is the kicker:  It is possible, according to this maxim, for there to be a society where you would have to serve an Othello if he happened to be placed over you!
As I was a new convert when posting here, my posts are often full of error, even unwitting heresy and rash judgment, all of which I renounce, and all my writings are best avoided -- MDLS

  • I think that there can be a very fine line between highlighting the various tendencies, common characteristics, general strengths/weaknesses, and idiosyncrasies of certain races or groups--and starting to think less of people among those races.  If one spends too much time dwelling on these questions, one could gradually slide into a subtle (or full-blown) racism.  In the supernatural order established by Our Lord, natural traits become relatively insignificant.  I have known good, generous devout people of all races, and selfish derelicts of all races.  Yes, there are natural differences (generally sepaking) between the races.  Duly noted.  Now let's move on--lest we give Traditional Catholicism a bad name.  One of the best friends I ever had was an extremely devout, kind, intelligent, articulate black man who ended up becoming a religious.

It's not possible to "move on" when racial issues affect the well-being and security of so many people.  Those who refuse to countenance discussion of race attempt to prevent any redress of grievance by whites who are endangered by hostile people of other races.
